Pros: Fantastic hotel which is made by the incredible warmth and hospitality of Michael and Claudia. Excellent location for the slopes and town. Fantastic food in the restaurant as well. One of the very best hotels we have ever stayed at.

Pros: WOW!! Absolutely charming family run hotel in a really beautiful part of the world. The staff speak English and are really delightful. Polite, kind and will go out of their way to make sure that you have a happy stay. We only found this hotel from the other reviews on Booking.com and were thrilled that we did. Really comfortable bed, black out curtains, lovely spa with sauna and plunge pool and gorgeous outdoor area for afternoon tea with view of the mountains. A wonderful place to stay for a relaxing, walking holiday in the Alps. We would LOVE to return one day.

Pros: The bed was excellent and the blankets were super soft. The room was very cozy and homelike. Spa was in one word excellent with an actual discreet view from the basement window onto the ski slope. The bar had a very good athmosphere with the large open fireplace and the barkeeper can serve you with any, proper made, balanced cocktails. The food is prepared and served with excellence with an extraordinary wine selection available

Cons: The bathroom was relatively small and we had to shower in the bathtub I’m generally not very fond of that

Pros: The staff were very friendly and always able to help. There was a great atmosphere in the lounge and bar area with open fires and the restaurant was very pleasant. Salads excellent. They even brought out a birthday cake for my daughter without anyone asking.

Cons: The towels in the bathroom were very hard. Perhaps they tried too hard with the food.

Pros: I liked just about everything about this hotel. The hosts and staff are so helpful. Attention to detail is second to none, The hotel is so clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated, stunning views, Delicious wine/coffee/food. A really warm, welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. Stay here, it’s seriously good!

Pros: My boyfriend and I stayed in Haus Melitta during the Easter break, such a lovely cozy place to spend 6 days, great location to access the centre of Lech, clean and quiet room even though our room is right next to the car ramp on the ground floor. The thing we enjoyed the most was the sauna room, we went everyday after snowboarding, it worked so well on the sour muscles and almost every time we went there was nobody. The breakfast is so good and fresh, don't forget to ask for a boiled egg it makes the breakfast perfect!

Pros: Haus Melitta was quiet with really nice rooms. The breakfast included all sorts of food from smoked salmon to liverwurst. The cheeses were everything from the usual to the unusual. The breakfast was hearty and the Haus would make you any type of eggs you preferred. THe location was quiet and within walking distance of all the reasturants in town. Get the Lech Card for a nominal cost and all the buses and lifts are free. It is well worth the price. Even if not a skiier or wanderer take every lift to the top to enjoy the scenery.

Cons: There was nothing that I did not like.

Pros: A wonderful experience. It was more like staying in someone's home than at a hotel. The staff could not do enough to make us more comfortable or feel at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: from the warm lobby to the brand new spa, the over stocked breakfast bar to the friendly staff, Hotel Panorama is a gem, value for money and just superb.

Cons: If i had to say ONE thing, and i’m really clutching at straws here....the pillows need to be changed, rather than one huge square pillow, a normal rectangular pillow would save a lot of neck ache. but the bed etc was so so comfortable, really great night sleep, the pillow just needs to be more of a pillow/neck support

Pros: A very warm welcome on arrival. Hotel public rooms were comfortable and tasteful in Austrian style. Rooms updated and great layout. Wellness spa was fitted out with several types of saunas as well as a wonderful relaxation room - such a bonus after a day skiing. Breakfast was very generous in variety and best quality. Staff were very pleasant to interact with at all times. The owners are delightful and should be commended for running such an excellent hotel. Overall a fantastic experience.

Pros: A welcoming and pleasant hotel. We were greeted by Simone who was a true professional and made us feel welcome. The owners and the rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and addressed whatever questions we had. The location is good, approximately a 5 minute walk to the nearest chairlift and also very accessible to the centre of town. There is also a bus, no.5 outside the hotel which is also very handy if you want to take the Oberlech gondola or just get into town. The hotel has a great sauna, however no spa which would have been a nice addition. A masseur is also available on request and they were excellent. Breakfast is plenty and variable. Afternoon tea was a treat, the cake and savoury treat is free but not the drinks.

Cons: Had dinner at the hotel on our last night and it was not the best. The courgette soup was lovely, however the main course of smoked trout was very salty and risotto with rocket was overly creamy and bitter. The dessert of cinnamon ice cream and fruit compote just lacked imagination, very ordinary.

Pros: A really fantastic hotel, with great facilities and staff, and very conveniently located for skiing. We had a family room which had lots of space for the 4 of us. The breakfast facilities were top class, and 3-course gourmet dinner was available twice a week. We will definitely be back!

Pros: Stunning location, only a short walk from the centre. Charming hotel with spectacular views, and a very welcoming team. Large bedrooms with lots of character and all the mod-cons. The main road to the hotel was closed for maintenance, so we couldn't find the hotel. We called for directions, and they drove out to meet us so we could follow in the car, this was unexpected but much appreciated, and shows the level of care the family have for their guests. An excellent breakfast buffet, with a wide range of hot and cold dishes, served by the very friendly staff. An excellent hotel!

Pros: I had the comfort of making a short visit to Lech in between work. At arrival I was greeted by the very nice owners. I could checkin early, which was convenient since I had to do some more mails/calls for work. After this I visited the new wellness inside the hotel, I was amazed. The wellness is very modern. Diner and breakfast are outstanding. Snowboarding in Arlberg with two sunny days was heavenly. Really recharged my battery during this short visit.

Cons: Mattress could be better. But I am working in the bedding industry so I might be a little prejudiced.

Pros: The house and the room were perfect. The owner was a busy but friendly lady who welcomed us smiling even though we didin’t make it up there during the check-in hours.

Cons: The breakfast was average, we missed fruit and veggies. The only black coffee was espresso, no americano available.There’s a lot of construction work going in the center during summer time.

Pros: This was the second time we have spent Christmas at this charming and familiar hotel. This time we stayed in the apartments attached to the hotel and it was very good. The apartment is an excellent option for a group of friends or family with four people and has been completely renovated recently. The restaurant has an excellent and varied menu always with options on the menu. The breakfast is well served and the staff always very well selected and personally managed by the owners of the hotel. I hope to be able to go back again! Thank you Alexander and all your staff for the warmth and professionalism with which we were greeted again!

Pros: Have stayed in Lech many times. Never had a nicer room or stayed in a hotel with staff that was as attentive and helpful. Food & wine were both great!

Pros: Superior hotel in every way! Rather than repeat all the wonderful comments others have made (which I encourage you to read), I can happily confirm every positive point made from my recent stay. Here is where we felt this owner, Alexander Wolf, and his most competent and courteous staff went above and beyond for us: 1. Check-in. Due to train delays, our arrival was much later than expected. Alexander met our taxi outside in the dumping snow, politely sent us into the restaurant for dinner, explained he would take our luggage to our room and we could check in later. The hostess seated us immediately and we had a fabulous dinner. One of the many delightful staff found us with paper and pen in hand to assist in our check in. We felt so welcome and at home for our entire stay. 2. Dinner reservations. Not only was the staff extremely helpful in finding restaurants according to our requests and making the reservations, she also called to remind us in the afternoon, just in case. 3. Fresh Bread delivery. Perhaps this is a common service in this area but we had never experienced such a delicious accommodation as being able to choose bread from a large menu and having it delivered to our door any morning that we chose not to enjoy the excellent breakfast buffet offered in the restaurant. 4. Ski Room. Again, perhaps this service is common in the area but the comfort, accessibility, size and safe storage of our ski equipment in the ski room was something we have never seen executed so well. US ski resorts should take note and learn from this. After renting our skis nearby, the store, Sportalp, delivered them to our hotel, and picked them up at the end of the week! The storage place had numbered spots for the skis and poles in one area and also for the boots on drying shelves in another area, along with cushioned seats to sit and gear up. The extra touch of the automatic door was welcome as you are carrying your ungainly ski equipment with no free hands to open and close doors.

Pros: The staff were exceptional. Martin, Heidi, breakfast staff and house staff made our stay a personable affair. A wonderful room and view. We arrived a little too early for the whole mountain to be open for skiing but still couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks also to Simon and the guys at Strols, in the Center of town.

Pros: Perfect breakfast! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Lots of selection and delicious omelettes and eggs. The bar and restaurant areas were also comfortable and welcoming. The drinks were always very nice and food at the restaurant in the evenings was a very high quality.

Pros: What A hotel. What a view!! Exceptional hotel. Cannot fault in anyway. From the beautiful furniture in the foyer to the wonderful rooms, this place is fantastic. No bar to speak of but everytime we ordered a beer, they came from the kitchen with another cold one! Beautiful Spa area that caters for everything from steam room, sauna and quiet rooms. Lovely. The meals served in the restaurant were fabulous and had local Austrian flavours throughout. Breakfast was great. lots of choice and with nice weather, we could sit out on the deck and enjoy views of the Alps. Astonishing. Did I mention the staff? Friendly, helpful and willing to offer a range of activities that could be done to fill in your time.

Cons: A little more signage to find the place would of been divine. Its up small road after every other hotel and you start to get the feeling that you might have gone the wrong way... then its there!
