Rooms were great, couldn’t ask for anything more. Coffee and water are standard. Check in process was very easy as was checkout. Note, if you pay for parking ($17) hold onto one key, you will need it to exit the lot. Pros (+) The building smells really good, they have a Starbucks right in the reception. Bed was comfortable and their shampoo/soap products are really good. Super quiet area that is 7 min walking distance from the strip. Very convenient if you want to sleep in a place that doesn't have the tobacco smell from casinos.
Cons (-) THEY CHARGED US $50 FOR "AMENITIES FEES" at the checkout. It is outrageous that they charged for a spa and a gym that I never used.I went to the Rock n Roll half marathon, I just needed a room where I could sleep and rest. Pros (+) It was quite and easy to find Parking. Located not too far from anything. Clean room. Price was great. Staff was very helpful. Had a nice view of the carousel!
Cons (-) Lack a casino and food option is limited within the hotel. Bathroom tub had a tiny bit of rust and the shampoo, lotion, and body wash was not that great. So I would recommend bringing your own.

Cons (-) This is not a 4 star hotel. A little dated. Waited in line for awhile to check in and out. Casino was small and there weren't many people there. No refrigerator in room.

Pros (+) We've stayed at the Westin on numerous occasions and we keep going back because the beds are super comfy, close to the strip-yet far from the crowds, and the prices are usually reasonable. Also, as SPG members we earn points, which can be used to stay at other participating Westin locations.
Cons (-) The craps table is only open from Thursday through Sunday evening.
