7,5 Good
Pros: The room is clean and has a very good size. The beds are confortable. There is a small fan, that was very useful because the day was uncommonly hot when we got there. The breakfast is tasty, with fresh food, but the replacement is a little bit slow. If you go by car, there are parking lots nearby.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful managager, excellent breakfast (as nearly always in German hotels). Room spotlessly clean (again: as nearly always in German hotels).

Cons: No
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Able to keep my touring bike - my only means of transport in a secure garage. Option of sitting out on the roof terrace. Shops and restaurants ate within walking distance.
Cons: On a bike it's up a bit of a hill but manageable.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very kind host. Clean appartement, good breakfast.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the upstairs patio that was available for guests and enjoyed eating a picnic dinner out there. The hotel was in a quiet but accessible part of town. Service was outstanding. Breakfast was very delicious. At the end, we were given a jar of delicious jam to take home - yum!
Cons: It was very hot the evening that we were in Boppard and we were on the top floor. We appreciated the hotel providing us a fan, but it was not strong enough to make much of a difference. Perhaps a larger standfan for hot nights?

7,0 Good
Pros: This is an older updated hotel in primelocation by the river Rhein. We had a room with Rhineview and balcony and that was special. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, rooms really small, but with the balconyt it was okay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location! Updated rooms with comfortable beds and plenty of outlets. The restaurant served excellent food.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: What a find! A lovely welcome on checking in and they had managed to give us a high floor room (5th) which was requested. The room exceed my expectations from the website photos and with a balcony gave us fabulous view of the Rhine. Tea and coffee in the room with a small fridge was an extra bonus. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and enough to fill you up for the day.
Cons: Not the hotel's fault but parking is a bit hit and miss in Boppard - just remember to renew the parking ticket when due!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, nice staff, everything clean and nice.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good and staff are very friendly.
Cons: We thought the room comes with a balcony facing the river but it didn’t.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, good breakfast, easy parking opposite hotel
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: The proximity to the Rhine and restaurants.
Cons: It was noisy with the trains and the decor was modern and not conducive to a relaxed environment .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. We had a room with a river view. We had the small room but it wasn't too small. Another time I think I would opt for a room with a balcony as well. The weather wasn't too hot which was good as the ferry might be a little noisy for some with the window open but it wouldn't have bothered me. Couldn't hear our neighbors which was good. Breakfast was fine. Lots of choice. Staff were always cheerful, friendly and helpful and worked really hard. Parking might be difficult in high season. We were there in June and always found somewhere to park along the river front.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, and the rooms are spasious and clean. Beautiful view over the river from our balcony❤ They served a very good breakfast. Perfect location, we loved the hotel and the town, er will be back!
Cons: The only thing was parking, but we found one in the end outside the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely boutique style hotel with lovely balconies overlooking the Rhine.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Lovely room with balcony overlooking the Rhine. Really enjoyed it. Just sitting on the balcony in the cool of the evening was wonderful. A super place. Staff were happy to reserve parking in hotel's own garage and this was excellent - this was booked in advance.
Cons: What we had for dinner was excellent. However the menu was a little pedestrian and maybe geared to coach parties. In fairness, we were able to chose something which we enjoyed. Great wine list. Staff couldn't have been better.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location in the city Good service from some of the staff Rooms were nice Possible to get massage (had to be ordered from someone external that came to the hotel)

9,3 Excellent
Pros: Break feast excellent
Cons: Parking a little difficult
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Cons: There is no Air Condition in the hotel. During this very hot weather when temperature exceeded 30 degrees, there is only a desk fan in the room which makes sleeping very uncomfortable. We had to leave the windows open and were waking up by the noise from street.
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel was situated right on the Rhine. The view of the river was amazing
Cons: WiFi was not reliable.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: We upgraded to the apartment which was quite expensive. Breakfast was superb and the dining room was stylish. The sitting area was spacious with comfortable chairs.
Cons: No air conditioning. Plates and cutlery should have been provided in the apartment.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a beautiful property in a heritage structure but with all the modern amenities. The new wing blends beautifully with the old. The interiors are so elegant in all the common areas. The location is wonderful. It's fantastic to be sitting in the balcony and watching the Rhine river flow. The Le Jardin garden restaurant is also right on the banks with the colourful flowers. Food was superb and breakfast too. The highlight of our trip was that I celebrated my birthday there and was gifted a bottle of wine right in the morning. It was so nice of them to do this. I was really touched by the gesture.
Cons: Everything perfect. Only suggestion is to add a few more vegetarian items in the restaurant fine dining menu.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A grand old hotel, beautifully refurbished in a perfect location on the Rhine River offering extras such as a wine tasting and a fine dining room as well as the regional restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times especially at breakfast.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: the view and the building
Cons: the wifi didn't work on my macbook and on a work trip that is critical.

7,0 Good
Pros: Quiet and big room. Breakfast not exceptional in quality but with a good choice.
Cons: The cost for the pet is not justified. Parking is available along the street and it has to be prepaid, so be careful to estimate the departure time. The structure is located quite far from downtown, you can make a long walk riverside or taking the car is needed.

Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Work colleague
Cons: Nothing very nice hotel and quirky staff
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very good as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were friendly and made the stay enjoyable
Cons: There was no tea or coffee facilities and no kettle was provided. HOWEVER the reception staff made tea of an evening which went someway to mitigate. The location was in an area just outside the main town which we felt uncomfortable walking through late at night - it was probably perfectly safe, we were judging it on UK standards. If similar location in a UK city we would not have stayed there.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Good room, staff and facilities
Cons: A bit of a walk to the centre
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast plenty of hot and cold food. Comfortable bed and a quiet night sleep.
Cons: The breakfast room could incorporate a toaster and sliced white or brown bread instead of the hard rolls. Also I noticed that a lot of fancy food on display was hardly touched by the guests. This could be reduced and made way for a coffee machine and a hot water urn for those who like tea rather then relying on catering staff to make it in their kitchen. The small single room facilities states on booking.com that a safety deposit box is in the room but there was not, I questioned this with a staff member and was told that not all rooms have one fitted. If this is the case then the hotel needs to update their site so as not to mislead future guests. There is not a proper chest of draws to store small items of clothing. This was also highlighted to staff. The room had a writing bureau which these days is not really needed and a chest of draws could be fitted in its place to accomodate the storage of guests clothing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: A very clean and comfortable room with good facilities, fairly convenient for the railway station and the centre of Koblenz.
Cons: We were surprised that breakfast hadn't been included in the price but maybe it reflected an oversight by us.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for a stroll into the town, and down to the riverside.
Cons: Everything and everyone was perfect.
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Very good breakfast. Lovely sights on the riversde.
Cons: Our balcony was above the kitchen and looked into another buliding. A small fridge is the room should be a necessesity. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room are not availible.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Parking was easy and cheap. Breakfast buffet was great. We had a room with a balcony Overlooking the Rhine which was well worth the extra $.
Cons: FYI: Even though the view of the ships navigating the bend in the river is great in its own right, there are no castles visible from this spot if that is what you’re after.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast with local products (cheeses, jam, cold cuts), good coffee. The rooms with a balcony have an incredible view on the Rhine. Good wine produced by the hotel. Owners are very helpful.
Cons: nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and the location were wonderful! Because it's right on the Rhine, there is a noise issue between the trains and the boats but as long as that's ok with you, you can't beat it. Also, you get a guest card now that lets you use those trains in a large part of the area for free! Awesome!
Cons: We weren't a fan of the pillows! And the cash-only policy is a bit odd, so be prepared! Frankly, I don't see why credit card fees can't be worked into the room price.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent array of breakfast foods and beautiful view of the Rhine as we ate. Location was close from the train station for us to walk with our luggage. We always breathe a sigh of relief when there is a lift. Genuinely German.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was comfortable and big enough. The breakfast was simple but good and only costs € 5 per day. The location of the hotel was great, only a couple of minutes walking to the Rhine and from there a short walk to the old city.
Cons: The hotel didn't have private parking space. Public parking on the street was possible, but limited in time (depending on the street max. 2, 3 or 4 hours parking). There is a parking nearby at the train station for longer stays.

Pros: Close to Main Station and City Centre. Very friendly owner. Clean bathroom
Cons: No, A/C but it’s OK
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was better than I expected. The room was quite spacious, with lots of light. So was the bathroom. The beds had super nice thick pillows. There was a cabinet for clothing, and a table plus chair, and good wifi. Parking is really not a problem - there is paid parking for 1,50 eu per hour, and from Friday 14 pm on you can park for free in a lot around the corner until 8 am Monday. There is also a garage near the Bahnhof. The personnel are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is 5 eu, and good enough. Great thing: the elevator! The whole place is very tidy, no weird smells or musty towels. Location is great, about 1 km hoofing it to the Altstadt and the Deutsche Ecke, straight up Löhr Str, a nice walk. A cab fare is about 7 eu. Bike rentals at Michael's nearby. Excellent hotel, I will be back.
Cons: I like soft boiled eggs, these were hardboiled, but who cares. :-) The breakfast was just fine for the 5 eu, with fresh fruit and good coffee, fresh rolls etc, and very convenient. Nothing not to like about this hotel.
8,8 Excellent

Pros: Breakfast room very bright and welcoming. Reception staff very helpful. Hotel close to the river good location.
Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly reception and helpful ihr our luggage. Nothing was to much we asked for
Cons: A bit noisy and we had a room towards the street.
5,5 Okay
Pros: Excellent location, decent breakfast
Cons: Firstly, the rooms are not at all sound proof. I could hear the sound of the street just below even with closed windows AND wearing the (hotel's complimentary) ear plugs! I could also hear the steps of other customers outside my room going for breakfast. Second, there are no blinds and the half-dark curtains are much narrower than the windows' width!! I don't know if they tried to save up on fabric, but it makes absolutely no sense. There is no way to block the sunlight in the morning! Those factors contributed to a poor (and short) night's sleep. Furthermore my room was not impeccably clean. The toilet seat was stained from underneath, also the wall next to the bathroom mirror (it looked like a pig picked their nose and then wiped their finger on the wall – disgusting). The owner didn't bother to ask me whether I had a pleasant stay upon checkout. I guess it was not important; business must be going well. All that for € 150 for one night in a triple room which I find unreasonably expensive. I wouldn't return.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: A little noisy (street noise) early in the morning
6,8 Good

Pros: Pleasant and helpful staff, had good language skill
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This little gem in old town of Koblenz was a pleasant surprise. 5 minutes walk to the Deutsche Eck where the River Mosel joins the River Rhein, 5 minutes to Rhein promenade with plenty of restaurants. Very nice and helpful staff, delicious breakfast included in room rate. Rooms decent size. Very clean. Plenty of towels. We liked this family operated hotel dating back to the 18 century.
Cons: We liked everything but want to make especially US travelers aware of the lack of A/C which can be challenging during the summer month.

6,3 Good
Pros: The whole place is very clean and the breakfast is good. The spa is nice but I was disappointed to find out there was no gym.
Cons: For the price we paid, the rooms are quite basic. Nothing wrong with them, I just expected more for the money.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Africa connection. Respect for hunting. Hunting and golfing are my sports. Next time I will try to combine these in Jakobsberg. And the golf course, although extremely dry, is challenging and full of surprises. I'll be back soon.
Cons: leaving after too short a stay.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities and well placed for stunning views over the Rhine, superb local hiking options through the vines or the forest
Cons: Could have promoted local attractions a little better, needs a fitness centre for this size of hotel
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location and the facilities.
Cons: The toilet roll hanger was quite strangely 5 feet across the toilet which you don't expect in any hotel. This 4star hotel didn't have, as per the staff, a single queen size bed in the entire hotel even though at Booking.com it does say so while booking.

Pros: SPA Breakfast
Cons: Wi-Fi very slow. Small blankets on the beds.

Pros: Location wasn't quite as hoped for - not right by the river and with a very busy railway line very close which creates a lot of noise.

Cons: Room temperature. But when we asked for a fan the provided one without any trouble

Pros: We've stayed in 1 bedroom apartment, that is located in villa 2 km away from the hotel itself. It was great! - kitchen with all the appliances, dining area - very nice balcony with great view on the river
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing authentic atmosphere, very cute room, amazing food!!!! Also a lot of little details to make the stay very nice like, nice paintings, a speaker which you can connect via Bluetooth, cute baskets, cushions. Dinner was absolutely great with a lovely atmosphere and very well done food!
Cons: The only thing I would improve would be the bed linens (a bit old so had lots of spools, which you can feel a lot when laying down) and slippers (if you ask for them, you get almost a paper one)

Cons: Only one towel first day - and no face cloth left second day
7,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast had a good variety and it was self-service (which helped when it was busy). Close to the river for a morning run along the path. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: No iron in the room (there was a special ironing room near reception but just a little less convenient). The safe was not big enough for a laptop, which would have been useful. The toiletries in bathroom were basic (1 soap dispenser to do everything...). My MasterCard was rejected....still not sure why as it works fine elsewhere! I thought the room rate was a little pricey for what you got, especially as breakfast was an additional 15E.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location is great with enough car parking, friendly staff and good restaurant and impressive breakfast.
Cons: internet is slow and ports are blocked which is not good for business travel wen using company private VPNs.
