Pros:Quality, healthy breakfast with feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, breads, eggs, honey and jam, omelette, excellent yogurt, and a few more items. We only met two women on the staff and they are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The housekeeper of our section was friendly and wiped the marble floor each morning. A narrow street separates the hotel from the smooth rocky beach where the water is clear and blue-green. There are several good restaurants within a few minutes of walking, or continue to the larger concentration of restaurants and shops in about 10 minutes at a strolling pace. Kokkari was much better than Pythagorio since it has a beach and better layout. Even our rental car represtative from Vathy said that he prefers Kokkari to Pythagorio. I would stay here again.
Cons:About the only complaint I had was the smell from the drains leaking into the bathroom. Keeping a bath mat over the drain in the floor helped, but it also seemed to come from the shower. Keep the window in the bathroom open. We stayed in early October when it was pleasant weather (and it was quiet in town) but there did not appear to be air conditioning, so it could be hit in July and August. This appeared to be normal for the area, however, due the the steady wind.
