Meritage Meadows Inn - Redmond - Building

9,7 Excellent (46 reviews)

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every hotel and inn should be like this, clean, friendly, with excellent personal service. Bob and Karen have a beautiful inn in a gorgeous setting. I had the best breakfast there. Bob even gave me extra apricot scones to take back home for my husband. He baked them himself. Karen's cookies were also out of this world. I didn't get a chance to try their wine but next time I am in Seattle, will definitely stop by and try some.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Great location and accommodations
Cons: No
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The bathroom is sparkling clean, as is the rest of the room. We received a glass of champagne upon check in. The bar is great for an evening drink and the caramel apple pie is amazing.
Cons: We were informed of a wedding taking place when we checked in. However, we were not told that the room we were put in was directly above the dance floor for the wedding. The bass was so loud the bathroom fixtures rattled for 2 hours. We couldn't even watch tv. When we asked about switching rooms, we were told the hotel was full. (We noticed that wedding guests were put in rooms on the top floor where it was much quieter.) Our "view room" looked directly out at an overgrown tree, blocking our view of the lake. In the hallway outside our room, we smelled the distinct odor of pot being smoked. This is not the experience we've come to expect at the Woodmark. If we hadn't stayed here several times before and had amazing experiences, we would never return.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, the staff was helpful, it was not crowded, easy parking, excellent service.
Cons: No
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, amazing beds & pillows, very clean!
Cons: The only thing is that the bath tub seems very dangerous to get in & out. That should have a grab bar on the side & a anti slipping surface at the bottom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible water view, nice room, beautiful bathrooms, wonderful lobby spaces, "Raid the Pantry" at night, restaurants on site
Cons: We were charged an "amenity fee" of $15 plus tax when we checked out. They very nicely explained that it was for free coffee in the lobby, newspapers, apples, etc. I don't think that was appropriate given the price of staying there.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, great waterfront location, nice common areas for relaxation and reading, safe and beautiful to jog along the water. Welcoming feeling.
Cons: No minibar. The room was a bit on the small side. Expensive for a regular hotel room and being far from the city.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful setting. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was truly dog friendly, had a green space for our dog to do her business.
Cons: No complaints.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel people where very courteous
Cons: I was billed twice for the stay ... And it's so difficult to resolve this issue
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Always a pleasure staying here
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was excellent but it was the staff that made it special. Everyone we came in contact with from the bellman to the front desk clerk bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Excellent stay!
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Being able to kayak and location on the lake
Cons: Was woken up at 2am by a lady screaming at her drunk husband and then punching each other throwing things I had to call the hotel front desk that called security. Screaming did not stop for about an hour so I did not sleep at all

7,0 Good
Pros: The location was great, the atmosphere was very upscale.
Cons: The room was clean but the bathroom lacked in cleaning thoroughly. It was very inconvenient to have to go to another building to use the fitness equipment and the pool. The pool was too cold. The shampoo and soap never got replaced or refilled in the room

Hyatt House Redmond - Redmond - Building
4
9,1 Excellent (1 144 reviews)
R3 324+
Overview Reviews
HYATT house Redmond provides a contemporary twist to the traditional suite experience - offering up an authentically comfortable lifestyle while adding little touches of luxury. Spacious smartly designed suites and guestrooms - fresh sumptuous beds and linens - full kitchens with stainless steel appliances, flat panel TVs with expanded cable and movie channels - waffle terry bathrobes.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, well kept, quiet. Awesome breakfast
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms
Cons: Shower could have been cleaner
6,5 Good
Pros: The room was clean and well appointed, although I thought it was smaller than most. The location was within walking distance of downtown Redmond where we found the most excellent Italian restaurant. Speaking of eating - the breakfast provided was very good and the staff was active at clearing away the tables to insure seating for everyone.
Cons: Fire Alarm at 1:30 am and the entire hotel was evacuated! I suspect they have a problem with this because as soon as the alarm went off I remembered reading a reviewer mention the very same thing happened to them. I recommend requesting a room on the bottom floor, (we were on the 5th), and the elderly lady in front of us on the stairs had quite a bit of trouble during the evacuation. We will choose to not stay here here again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Towne Center and easy to hop on freeways.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Modern and friendly atmosphere. Excellent swimming facilities. Great Restaurant services. Rooms had full size fridge/freezer and kitchenette. Beds were comfortable and staff very helpful.
Cons: Occupancy and city taxes were not included in the booking.com price. This ended up costing us an extra $140 USD for two rooms over two nights. This was not disclosed until the credit card was charged.
7,5 Good
Pros: During check in the receptionist told me my card wont be charged the deposit 25$, but I saw it that they charged it. She should 've said, it will be charged, but you'll get that back after you check out. She wasn't clear, and kept on saying" oh no nonon no charge no charge, I just need your card so I can check you in" and she swiped it, and I saw the charge. I was already charged when I booked it online, total 129$ but when I signed the check in it was 109$. and she put the $25 as well. so I was confused with the charge.
Cons: We were down in the breakfast area, I thought the set up was awkward. the coffee set up was right at the front, and the other food on the other side.. Not enough ketchup, so people were taking stuff from other tables... You needed to fill a FORM to get breakfast burritos, ~!? they could be set right next to juice. ) which was not clear, cause we saw people standing in the line, and started to be in the line, but were told they were out of these FORMS, and it was 9 55, she didn't bother taking our order. we were 3 people in line. I know it was close to 10 am, but we were the only ones in line. she didn't even answer us. :(
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing, the hotel is always lovely and clean and rooms, well suited. Thank you Redmond Hyatt House!
Cons: I liked everything.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything. Great room, great service, great location, high-end lobby and restaurant/bar. Walking distance to a shopping plaza and also Cleveland St. for some good eats (Woodblock & Matador). It was just a short drive to Microsoft's campus, where I was visiting for the week. If I come back, this is first on my list!
Cons: I wish the kitchen would stay open a little later (closes at 10p, the 2 nights I ate in, I just caught the tail end of the service).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location a lot. It was close to shopping and easy to get in and out of to where ever we were heading. Breakfast was the best I've had a hotel in a long time. Would definitively stay here again.
Cons: I didn't like the noise from air conditioner in the room it was loud and faced the bed so there was no way muffle the sound. We had to turn it off just to get some rest. The other issue I had was on the second floor we faced the interior side of the hotel which had all the a/c units right outside the window. So every time a guest's ac turned on we had to hear the hum of these machines throughout the night. There was definitely no view from this side of the hotel on this floor. I would prefer a room facing the street next time or a taller floor.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Unbelievable value on a last-minute deal!!! Didn't want to leave the hotel room honestly; from the ambiance & staff (Mark in the bar is a star) to restaurant/bar quality, to room comfort and overall style, I was hooked immediately! While it seems to be primarily (and well) designed for extended stay business guests, therefore missing some things like 24-hr room service, it made up for that in leaps and bounds with the gracious service of a luxury hotel. I would return without question, and am hopeful that other Hyatt Houses will live up to the high bar they have now introduced me to at this brand.
Cons: Without a car, the location's address was a bit tricky for called cabs to find (on a cul-de-sac-ish sideroad); walking-distance amenities were not suuuuper close (looked closer on map but pretty far to an out-of-towner on a dark rainy night); and the sole bus--while only a block away--was slow at the times I was needing it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was hood

Pros: Great place to stay! Wish we had more than one night
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Patio sitting was great
Cons: Lack of selection
4,0 Okay
Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: Breakfast was so so, the room was cold, set up wrong, cheap & lacked proper decor. I could set this up the right way. It was lighting being in a cafeteria at high school
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff are very welcoming and efficient. The linens, luxurious rooms were so comfortable and quiet. We will continue to stay at the Heathman on future travels.
Cons: All good!
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were nice and comfortable - nothing special, but nice enough. The staff was very courteous and friendly every time I walked by, and they helped get me checked in several hours before the official arrival time. The location was great, right in the middle of downtown Kirkland, close to restaurants and my office.
Cons: My only (minor) complaints are that the gym seemed a little warm, and the mattress had a very low spot on one side that actively rolled me down into it when I tried to sleep on my side. I didn't actually go this time, but my past experience with the restaurant is that it's very expensive. As a result, I just eat out at other local establishments.
1,0 Poor
Cons: I asked if it was possible to have a refund weeks before and never had a response... now i get this survey? Adding salt to the wound...
6,3 Good
Cons: Water for taking a shower and bath is not hot enough, I can leave my hand under the running water. Which led to a lukewarm bath. I called to have it checked out and no one has come to my room as promised.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff held themselves to the upmost professional selves. Everything was clean and comfortable. We requested a microwave and it was provided quickly. We were there for work and had to extend for an unexpected night. My reservation hadn’t gone through yet and needed to run around for work before checkout but wouldn’t be back until after checkout. They were more than happy to accommodate us, so very grateful for this. Seriously, all staff members we came in contact with were friendly and professional.
Cons: Microwave was delivered dirty, ice was only available in a bag (from the front desk only-no ice buckets for the rooms) and the elevator was abnormally cold.
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff was polite, no waiting in lines, close proximity to downtown Kirkland, clean room, robes, very hot water - good water pressure.
Cons: Thin poorly insulated walls, neighbors keep us up at night with normal conversation volume, loud.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Love the location. Easy to walk around downtown shops & restaurants.
Cons: Not enough coffee & creamers inside the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our special request was done very well and surprised us! The champaigne was nice, the card with the message, the flowers. The room design... Truly luxurious and we will definitely come back
Cons: Nothing, it was amazing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor and calm and classy vibe.

10,0 Excellent
