Pros: Great location; quiet room. Enjoyed the fireplace in the room (but just for a few minutes because it was August) I stayed for a week, and they had a good rotation of hot breakfast items available. Easy to get in and out of the garage with no upcharge for parking. Able to log into my Netflix account on the room tv and watch shows with the “free” tier of internet. Filtered water bottle filler in the exercise room was nice to have

Pros: The young woman at the front desk was very friendly. My only negative was in regards to the clothes we inadvertently left behind. When I called, the young man told me they had them and would mail them to us (for a fee of course.) After 10 days when I still hadn't seen them, I called back and the items were still there waiting to be mailed. Not sure if the post office pony express wasn't working that week but she said the they would go out soon. Still waiting...

Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: There is no pool or spa or hot tub at this location. Despite conflicting information from various sites. None. My kids were very disappointed. The room was super humid while somehow managing to be freezing. We could not get the air conditioner to kick off so it ran loudly all night. Pros: We didn't eat the breakfast. It cost more than what we wanted to pay ($11.00).
Cons: We had problems with getting into our room on our first day there. The clerk had to come up and unlock it - the handle was sticking and had to be pressed down really hard to open. THEN, the second day, we had to leave the room unlocked while going downstairs to get help to lock it! I think the handle situation had been fixed by the time we checked out, but it was very annoying.

Pros: location was good but not as close as others on the plaza, its a jog to walk but there was a shuttle. They don't offer free breakfast but for $5 a person at check in you can get the buffet.
Cons: The rooms were old looking, needs updated. There were no usb plugs and there was only one side of the bed that had a regular plug for a phone. Hard to charge two phones and two watches that way. It was very loud around 12a-3p off and on.

Pros: The location allowed us to walk to the plaza.
Cons: It smelled like I was walking into a hotel in Mexico. Very stale. Also parking was horrible. Parking garage for large vehicles has spaces smaller than compact car sizes so every vehicle took up 2 spots. Same with the compact car garage.

Cons: This hotel is frequented by crackheads. It was one of those city hotels that should be $-- a night and probably offered hourly rate specials.

Pros:
Cons: The chair in the room was uncomfortable. There weren’t many lighting options. The towels were small and thin. Housekeeping did not refresh our towels while we were gone during the day.

Pros: The TWA room was extremely unique and interesting.
Cons: When we first arrived, one of the entry doors to the hotel was broken and stuck open, so it was very cold in the lobby. The walls and door are very thin- room next door had people coming and going every few minutes until at least 3am. We called the front desk and was met with a very tired "okay, yeah" when we requested they be asked to quiet down. The bathroom door is a sliding barn door and doesn't close. The thermostat does not give an option to leave the fan on- making the silent room an echo chamber for the party next door.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Best part of our stay was the location. Within walking distance of multiple places to "wine and dine".
Cons: First off, let me say that I stayed here for work last year and loved it so I brought my girlfriend for a quick weekend getaway. When I made my reservation, I requested not to be by the elevator and also let them know I'd have a late check in time (7pm). When I was given my room assignment and went up, it was the first room immediately next to the elevator. When I called down to see about changing rooms, I was told there were no other rooms available due to having 2 basketball teams staying there. The room we got looked like an old Super 8 motel room. Not something you would expect for $100+/night room. Went to use the restroom and found the laminate on the toilet seat was peeling severely. This made it uncomfortable for my girlfriend to use the restroom. There were no toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc. In the shower). The paint was peeling on the trim and it was cold (64 degrees) in the room. We located the electronic thermostat on the wall and set the heat to 72 degrees and left for our evening events. We got back just after 1am and found the room to be even colder. The "heater" was on high and blowing cold air. I adjusted the thermostat and even turned it completely off but it continued to blow cold air on high. We called down to the front desk and was told they would call us back. 15 minutes later, no call so I called down again. He said he was checking someone in and would try to find us another room. At 2am, I had to go down and get another key. He said nothing to me, just handed me another key. I went back up to pack up all of our things and move up 2 floors to the exact same room right by the elevator (remember I requested to not be by). The new room did have heat, had toiletries, the toilet seat looked worn but was not peeling and the trim paint was peeling. We didn't get much sleep because we could hear young people talking and laughing loudly in the room next to us and people going in and out of the elevator.

Pros:
Cons: Hotel was literally falling apart. The curtains in our room fell off the wall, the bathroom door was falling off the wall, housekeeping put the bathroom garbage in the toilet and tried to flush it. We got back to our room and the toilet was stopped up. I took a picture and called the front desk. It took 30 minutes for someone to fix it. Hotel staff were rude and unhelpful. They were out of creamer, a lot of breakfast items and when you asked the person in charge of the breakfast for something he said they were out and not getting more.

Pros: Good location.
Cons: The whole 6th floor smelled like marijuana. The bathroom door is so weird, it is like a barn door that just slides over the bathroom opening.

Pros: Staff was very friendly, hotel was centrally located.
Cons: Hotel is obviously very old and out-dated. Needs a facelift badly. No water pressure and lukewarm water in shower. Also, charging $20 for parking when I’m already paying to stay at the hotel is obscene.

Pros: Location
Cons: The first room I was in, the sofa has a big stain and the shower run was dirty. I took pictures and showed the front desk. They gave me another room and yet the shower water was leaking. Since it was just one night, I decided to stay. Furthermore, on the checkout, there was a young boy at the front desk, he was very rude and needs training on customer handling.

Pros: The whole facility was overall very clean and quiet and friendly and safe. Its in good proximity to KUMC.
