Stayed here on numerous occasions both leisure and work. Always find the staff friendly and professional.
Nothing that comes to mind.
Comfortable bed! The first room I was in - the door and frame were splintered and damaged so the door didn’t close properly! I informed reception when I went out for an hour and when I came back they gave me a different room....which was by the riverside! Much nicer, larger and cleaner room with windows that open and much quieter than the ones facing church street! I also got free drinks tokens but couldn’t use them, they are only for beer/wine/tea etc and as I was working I didn’t get back until 1am! The receptionist and manager dealt with the situation very well..as a solo female I was not happy with a room door that appeared insecure! The first room I was in was not cleaned to the usual standard....I’ve stayed here before and it’s always spotless! But the second room was great! I did miss the nice coffee machine this time though!!! Thank you!
The first room wasn’t properly cleaned and the door/frame was broken
Entrance and lounges bright, welcoming, impressive. Evening meals good. Able to watch Netflix on lounge TV! Room very small but adequate with kettle, hairdryer etc. Nice bathroom
Lighting in room slightly dim!!
It is central in Inverness
The room was too warm with no access to climate control. There was snow TV remote and despite asking staff repeatedly for one, it was not replaced. The hotel overall just seemed quite tired.
Location is good. Parking (although you are charged extra to park) is handy.
I have stayed twice now and both times had the same problem. The walls are paper-thin, and both nights i was kept awake by exceptionally loud guests. Very enthusiastic couple in the next room as well as arguments into the wee hours. Last time a group of people had a party outside my room. I called reception but there was little to nothing they could do. I wont be staying again.
