Pros: The hotel locates across the lake. you can get to the shore of the lake just 2 minute by foot. the Safeway(big supermarket) and Kings beach are just 3 minutes by car. Around the hotel there are several local good restaurants.
Cons: I couldn't see Tahoe lake from my room and breakfast was so simple.

Cons: No
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping came everyday to clean our room. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good and offered more than we expected for a free continental breakfast.
Cons: The rooms were small but adequate.
9,0 Excellent

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Nice fruit.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable with a fireplace. Nice bathroom with shower and tub. Decent continental breakfast included ability to make your own hot waffles in lobby. Location directly across the street from a lakefront private beach.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Nice fireplace.
Cons: The layout is a little bit odd, but it’s not a deal breaker by any means.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I loved how accessible it was, I liked the price/value. The fireplace was AMAZING and I loved that a little balcony was available to all the rooms. Wonderful minimal decor was a nice feature in both bathroom and bedroom, and all amenities functioned well.
Cons: The mattress was fine for the price and the amount of time I was there, but if there is anything at all to improve upon in the room, maybe having a more supportive mattress-topper? However, I was super happy and comfy regardless.

9,4 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect and the room very comfortable
Cons: We were there to ski 1 day and have the timing all planned out. At first we were disappointed that the free breakfast didn't start until 8, but then we figured we would change things around a bit and we could still eat before we got to the ski resort by 9:00 am. It was an issue when it wasn't open at 8, even though I called the lobby the night before to confirm I had the time right. We waited until 8:15 and the office still wasn't open, and we didn't see any movement inside, so we let for the ski resort. Of course for me, it was no big deal, but my boyfriend (who needs to eat before any activity) was pissed and luckily I was able to keep it from being a big fight. Nothing worse on a get away than a pouty boyfriend lol.....
7,4 Good
Pros: Lakefront property Every room has a view Clean Family-run
Cons: Need some updating in hot tub area; Walls are thin; Outside night lamps are too bright
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The first room was not acceptable - second-floor floor was so crinkidy we could not sleep at night so they moved us into a new place with a nice kitchen that was nice!no extra charge!
Cons: Pliumbing is outdated!!!!!! Place needs updating! Floors need updating! Very old and sandy.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and the location cannot be beat! Great kitchen. Spacious rooms.
Cons: Bed was not that comfortable. Amount of light from outside sources was formidable. Bring a sleeping mask!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perfectly located right on the water, with a beautiful and enticing private beach. The room where we stayed afforded the most delicious view and as we were on the top floor we had the luxury of tall ceilings. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, and we would have liked to stay longer. We will be back!
Cons: The décor in the lobby and breakfast area could use an update.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location right on Lake Tahoe with a spectacular beach. All the water toys you could ever want are included! It was slightly longer walk to restaurants than was convenient but we found the local bus to be extremely convenient. Great hiking nearby. Also a very good area for local bicycling of a fairly advanced nature (20-40 mile rides with climbing). The room ittself was very comfortable and almost every room has a view of the lake. Furniture and fixtures are a little dated but in good working order. Staff was pleasant and extremely helpful with any question or request. Our stay was made all the more enjoyable by very warm fall weather that made it very comfortable to be outside. Would not hesitate to stay again and recommend without any reservation.
Cons: Not easy walking distance to town for eating options and shopping.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room. Right on the lakeside - a great location.
Cons: Night light in the corridor. Especially given the doom had a glass section to the door which meant you had a light shinning all night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We checked in late and it was a pleasure to have someone still in the office. The staff were friendly and helpful; they accommodated my prior request to move my room closer to the waterside (literally a few metres away). The room was fantastic: great space, comfortable beds, kitchenette with coffee maker and fridge. Bathroom was clean, spacious and practical. Great aircon that actually worked well and quietly. I loved the 24-hour access to the outdoor sauna. The property has its own private beach, with free rental of paddle-skis, canoes, pedal-boats, sun-umbrellas. There are plenty of barbeques available. The office area has an additional lounge/common room with coffee/hot chocolate available.
Cons: I can't think of anything I would have liked different. Although there is no breakfast available at this property, there is a great cafe a few metres along the road.
5,5 Okay
Pros: Location on the lake
Cons: Old style accommodation which needs updating in alignment with the cost.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location Location! Bed was comfortable & was quiet enough. Check in was easy & friendly. Loved having a kitchen.
Cons: I think they need to rethink the outside decor. Mediterranean flower pots looks weird in a rustic hotel. The landscaping isn’t as nice as it use to be. Less is more .

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great and the facilities too. The free equipment hire was amazing aswell. We could have stayed here for a lot longer!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, super chilled place to stay. Girls at reception were so helpful, free use of kayaks, bikes and SUP boards. Nice quiet part of town.
Cons: Loved it all.
7,0 Good
Pros: Great location and fantastic price point.
Cons: Awful WiFi, which was a requirement to have for my job. Also, no water in the pool or hot tub. No views from my deck as promised, room was cleaned, but bathroom was skipped entirely. Despite this, I'd stay again with lower expectations.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very nice. If you prefer an upstair room rather than basement floor, it is more silent. We’ve reserved a 2nd floor room. The location is great. It is in North Lake Tahoe which has a great and beautiful nature.
Cons: The only con. is that it is expensive without a breakfast. We don’t prefer a breakfast at hotel but even it doesn’t include breakfast it is still expensive.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Rommie
Cons: Bait traps, mouse.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfy. Nice that there was a couch.
Cons: No fan (It was a hot day and it was hot in there). I don't need AC but a fan would have been better. Lighting in bathroom was pretty terrible.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The beds
Cons: Hot tub was cold
4,2 Okay
Pros: Nothing. The property is old and in poor condition. No air conditioning.
Cons: No air conditioning. Mattress old and lumpy. Generally, this is the kind of property we expect you to screen. It’s a borderline slum and priced like adjoining newer or remodeled/refurbished complexes. Priced way above value.O
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. Right across from the lake. Easy to get to our event. Nice and relaxing environment.
Cons: Needs better air conditioning. Fan is not really sufficient, esp since it is not over the bed.
7,5 Good
Pros: Room spacious and clean. Very friendly staff.
Cons: The outside layout wasn't to our taste. The footpath goes right past the doors so no privacy in room. The middle space is unusable. Nowhere to sit outside privately. Communal outside areas not our thing at all. The path should go up the middle of the outside area, or even better past the back of the buildings, and each room should have its own private outside patio.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is awesome. Great place, great people.
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Holiday House in Tahoe Vista, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Northstar California Resort and Agate Bay.
7,3 Good
Pros: Lakeside with view of Tahoe Lake from the balcony and the front room. Fantastic hostess/owner who also teaches (and rents) paddle boarding and wind surfing. Within walking distance of lakeside dining. Close to Incline and small casino. Full kitchenette makes it perfect for week long stays and extra pull down bed makes suite big enough for family trips. View on a moonlit night make the balcony alone perfect for the romantic getaway for my girlfriend's birthday. Can't say enough. Would go back for the view, location and the friendly smiling owner, even in inclement weather.
Cons: Could use some upgrades of furniture, but this is small compared to the view.
7,7 Good
Pros: The location and the view on the lake, not to forget the very friendly owner.
