Too many middle men
Kayak had Getaroom who hired JAC Travel who was supposed to work with Quality Inn Wholesale Dept. My booking was 20 % more money and required 4 day cancel vs Quality Inn 3 Pm day of arrival. When we arrived at 11 Pn after a rough day of travel, our reservation could not be found. After an hour of frustrating phone calls and being on hold while all the middle men tried to figure out the problem, I could not take it any longer. My 4 yr ok'd was having a melt down and final middle man (JAC) could not produce documents suitable for hotel clerk to secure room. Quality Inn worker did all she could and was nice. In sure room would have been fine if I could have ever got it resolved. I insisted on canceling with Kayak /Getaroom but of course they said I would loose one night even after they could not resolve. And of course these middle men take your money up front. I have never had more issue and been more aggravated in my many years of travel. We picked thus location hotel as it was one of few next to stadium. Never will I use Kayak, Getaroom or JAC Travel and may never use 3rd party again. Very bad taste and I have not began my battle to get my money back yet.
