The room interior is good very functional and well decorated. Very tidy too. Hotel facilities are also good too, swimming pool, gym, games room etc. You could really spend a day inside the hotel. One thing I have to mentioned that their pizza bar is so good! Very delicious at a very fair price!! Should definitely try their signature Hong Kong fusion style pizza!
A bit of a shame that they don't havr any USB charging dock in the room nor you could borrow from the front desk. Turned out I need to rent a power-bank.
the bed is amazing but other things that made this hotel so special are gone.
the feel about the place was totally lacking in the sparkle that it had a year ago. i couldn’t get room service because i didn’t have cash. they had the credit card machine at the restaurant but, for some odd reason, they wouldn’t use it for room service. the very nice towels are just normal now. the mugs with beautiful logos on them are boring white, without logos. if they were getting stolen, sell them in a shop (which they really need but don’t have). the hotel was just a normal unspecial place. disapponting. they are lacking all the touches that i have come to expect in asian hotels like toiletries that don’t turn me into the incredible hulk. the cube of soap was toxic green and had so much colouring in it that i left it there because i was uncomfortable using such a product on my skin after the first use. i had just flown for about 14 hours from the middle east and i only wanted some food, a great shower and an amazing sleep. at least i slept well ... before boarding another 11 hour flight.
Room size is bigger than average
Location is not convenient unless you drive.
Clean room and low price
Tiny room Bar closes at 11.00 Its noisy There is nothing nearby
Just outside the city center, in the industrial district of Diamond Hill in Kowloon East, the upscale modern Pentahotel Hong Kong, Kowloon hotel stands next to surrounding factories and older buildings. Yet the hotel still manages to integrate many elements of Old Hong Kong with a unique ambiance that often attracts young and upbeat travelers.
North of the city's former airport, the hotel is in an area with popular local restaurants and happening nightlife. Within thirty-minutes travelers can access Kowloon attractions such as Tsim Sha Tsui, an ocean terminal known for many fashionable boutiques, and the Mongkok bird garden. However, Wong Tai Sin Temple, The Diamond Hill MTR Station, and Mikiki shopping mall are a shorter distance by foot and car.
Most of the hotel's stand-out features are integrated into the Pentalounge, a flowing space that houses a front desk, lounge, and a restaurant modeled like a food court. Two game rooms feature a Wii, a billiards table, a foosball table, board games with couches, numerous vending machines, and an Internet corner and music station. The food-court-style restaurant, Eatstreet, serves a variety of Chinese and Hong Kong specialties, plus a pizza bar. A nice pool sits amid a sundeck with loungers and umbrellas, and the fitness center offers plenty of equipment. There are also five modern meeting rooms and free shuttle service to nearby shopping areas.
The Pentahotel's 695 rooms are small but stylish. Standard rooms feature roomy desks, open-style clothing racks, and box shelves with ample storage. All rooms come with free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, mini-fridges, tea and coffeemakers, and robes. The suites add large sitting areas with an additional TV, separated from the bedroom by curtained glass walls. The sleek, black-tiled bathrooms feature walk-in rainfall showers.
