Cons: All was basically perfect. Just know that the hotel is NOT "walking distance" to any tourist spots, but IS located steps from the rail and Shinkansen central station and a short walk to Hiroshima streetcar station which will take you all over the city for a few dollars. (¥160 or $1.60 to go direct to Atomic Dome and a museum). Restaurants are pricey but there are 7-Elevens in the rail station for late snacking.

Pros: This is a great option for people wishing to visit Hiroshima. Located right next to the main sights and close to the train station, you can around the city very easily. The breakfast was very good, the room was large and very comfortable, and the views on the city were breathtaking. The staff were very friendly, and even offered us an upgrade for our honeymoon! A truly memorable experience and great value for money.

Pros: This is a great option for people wishing to visit Hiroshima. Located right next to the main sights and close to the train station, you can around the city very easily. The breakfast was very good, the room was large and very comfortable, and the views on the city were breathtaking. The staff were very friendly, and even offered us an upgrade for our honeymoon! Cons: While the hotel itself is great, the main restaurant on the ground floor is really not up to scratch for an international hotel. The ‘English menu’ has some parts translated in English, but unfortunately not the parts that you need to understand how the buffet works! Moreover, the restaurant really lacks English-speaking staff. We had an easier time speaking to staff at traditional ryokans and rural restaurants than in this international hotel. Finally, the buffet dinner on offer is the most expensive we’ve ever seen anywhere in the world, while the the quality of the food is very average. Really not worth your money. Stay at the hotel, avoid the restaurant!

Cons: This is a huge hotel which seems to operate as a vertical wedding factory too with everything a couple needs for a large celebration accommodated on one of the floors. The only thing is that the hotel seems to be caught somewhere between Japanese and American styles and I'm not really sure where. Knife and fork on a rest as one does for chopsticks, low furnishings in the western style rooms, side orders of fries served as a separate course. All that said, it's a good hotel and I'd stay again. Only that other global chains have reconciled the styling question better.

Pros: Rooms are small but thats standard for Japan hotels, wasn’t to expensive either. Having a fridge in the room was great aswell! Not much floor space for more than one suitcase, so if your staying more than a few days maybe look for something with more space to feel less squished. But for 3 nights it was fine for a couple as we where out most the time anyway. Excellent location to walk to peace park.

Cons: The room was tiny. The bathroom was inadequate. Could not have a decent shower as the shower head was not workable and could not be adjusted. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard and we did not get much sleep.

Family Mart next door, Nakau (cheap eating spot) a few doors down breakfast was ok, staff were very helpful, room was on the small side but thats normal for Japan Hotels I believe. The bathroom was a little strange, felt like you were moving or imbalanced? Hard to explain, you'll understand when you get there. Not a huge deal but strange anyway. All on all, decent value for money.

Family Mart next door, Nakau (cheap eating spot) a few doors down breakfast was ok, staff were very helpful, room was on the small side but thats normal for Japan Hotels I believe. The bathroom was a little strange, felt like you were moving or imbalanced? Hard to explain, you'll understand when you get there. Not a huge deal but strange anyway. All on all, decent value for money.

Location is perfect, from station simply get streetcar 1 for 10-15 mins and then a 3 minute walk and you are there. Rooms and bathroom are decent size for Japan, may be snug if sharing but i was solo. Staff are great. Food is amazing, really took me by surprise how good it is. Breakfast is a wide selection of Western and Japanese Breakfast and everything else in between.

Cons: Tiny room with no space for luggage and toilet items. Very old style, I guess it would need to be renovated. No shower, only a bath tube where if you are 190cm you cannot stand to have a proper one. Very disappointing for a 4stars hotel.

Pros: Our room was clean, located on the 8th floor, so we had a great view of the river. Location of this hotel is good, you can reach everything by walking.

Pros: Our room had a reasonable size. Only a few minutes from the hotel, at the riverside, there were e few nice terraces. Since we found it difficult in Japan to find a nice terrace for an afternoon drink, we were very happy about this. Close to the hotel also enough restaurants. We ate twice at a very nice Okonomiyaki restaurant (turn right outside the hotel, then first street to the left and right at the end of this street (opposite side of the road)).

Pros: Our room was clean, located on the 8th floor, so we had a great view of the river. Location of this hotel is good, you can reach everything by walking.
Cons: The members of staff are really unfriendly and unhelpful. If you want to check-in a bit earlier, they wouln‘t let you. We arrived at 1.30 pm, however check-in starts from 2pm. We asked if they could check wether or not our room would be available or not as we had a long journey and were tired. They denied (didn’t check availability) and replied that they won’t let us check-in earlier. Same with check-out. We checked out 5 minutes late and they were kind of angry and unfriendly. That‘s a poor service for a hotel!

Cons: The hotel was a bit outdated. Early in the morning we woke up by noises from within the hotel (microwave on the hallway close to our room).
