Hertz NEVER AGAIN - I did not Rent the vehiclePros:NOTHINGCons:There was Nothing I liked about the experience. My appointment was at 4:00 p.m., I called and informed them that I was running late. I arrived at the facility at 5:58, but they were closed, even though they were not suppose to close until 6:00 p.m., I was knocking at the door and calling the 800 customer service number when a young lady came out and stated "We close on time and walked away". When the customer service representative came on line she only wanted assist me with getting a vehicle from the airport at 100% of the amount I had already paid. Totally unhelpful and uncaring of the situation.Reviewed Apr 18 2018

Incomplete info on websitePros:Your website did not reflect the Hertz policy that the card used to make the reservation had to be presented when picking up the car. A corporate AM EX was used to pay for the rental. Since I did not have the card with me, I had to use my own credit card for the rental. The rental charge was higher since I was making a same day reservation.Cons:That the website stated the reservation was paid in full but made no mention that I had to have the same credit card used to make the reservation with me at the time of pick up. I was prepared to use my own card for the deposit, but expected the rental to be charged to the corporate card that was used. Because of this I have to wait "up to 7 days" for the security deposit to be refunded and at least two weeks for the reimbursement from work for the rental.Reviewed Apr 22 2017

Unusually average renting experiencePros:Rate wasn't too bad, ease of pick up/drop off is always smooth. I appreciate the no one way fee at hertz, since that is predominantly how I get rentals.Cons:Charged for fuel option that's I didn't approve of at pick up. Car was very basic. Seemed rather pricey to add a driver per day, considering that's the only time in recent years I've ever even had to pay to add one.Reviewed Feb 4 2017
