Understaffed, no cars, unhelpfulCons:Made a same-day reservation online. When I went to pick up, desk was not staffed. When staff appeared, she told me no cars were available and she had no suggestions to offer. I called another nearby office and was told they couldn't do anything for me. Is Hertz Still Number One?Pros:The price was reasonable. Didn’t know it was absolutely no frill.Cons:First: I was given a car with less than 1/2 tank of gas. BUT, per the counter person, I could prepay for gas because of the prepaid status. I couldn’t do any add on BUT... I was expected to bring it back with a full tank. The ‘computer’ was down at the office and we had to drive to another office to complete the transaction. Had not used Hertz in some time. Do not plan to use again.Reviewed Nov 5 2018
