Staff was fine but location seemed extremely disorganized. Received notification that car was ready for pickup three times but this was not the case. Took 30-40 minutes to get car. Advise working with some other organization rather than Hertz.Reviewed Jul 5 2026

They gave me a bad car to begin with. The car already had an Oil change required warning sign. The car had an empty red bull can. When I complained the same to the Hertz customer operations manager at Salt Lake City, he was least interested in listening to what I was saying and was very adamant in accepting the fault. When I said the vipers were making a screeching sound and the viper auto mode was not working and I had to manually move it up and down, he said that Hertz does not guarantee the working of auto vipers and some cars don't even have that feature. I am renting cars since ages and never felt experienced such a terrible customer service. Never choosing Hertz again in my life.Reviewed Jul 5 2026

I booked a rental car with Hertz via Kayak and I specifically requested a 7 seater mini van or similar. I travelled early with a Uber to pick up the car but when I arrived at Hertz, the lady mentioned to me that there were no 7 seater cars available and the confirmation from Kayak was a mistake. It cost me 40 Euros to travel to the rental car office and flight tickets because I was too last minute to find alternative options that were more economical. Very disappointed with the validity of the app and the quality of service with the agent at Hertz. Probably the last time a I will be booking through Kayak in the future.Reviewed Jul 2 2026

They gave me a 2022 Tesla model 3. A/C didn’t work on hot days, horn didn’t work, back window didn’t roll down, lost charge much faster then the previous Tesla model 3 I had got from hertzReviewed Jul 2 2026

Kayak booking system highly problematic, didn't mention complete lack of ANY insurance! Hertz then tried to charge 100% of rental cost on top to be fully insured which is unacceptable.Reviewed Jul 1 2026

The car wasn’t well maintained. It had a “Perform TPMS reset” and “Maintenance Required” warnings immediately at pickup. The left rear tire was leaking and I had to pay a tire shop to fix it. The Maintenance Required light never went away because the car is probably overdue for an oil change. They also put aftermarket floor mats in the car and didn’t anchor them in any way, and the driver’s mat kept bunching up under the clutch and brake pedals, which is really dangerous, so I removed it.Reviewed Jun 30 2026
