Cons:I missed my scheduled meeting because of you guys. After I drove 30 miles, I see the maintenance required sign. I had to drive from Columbus(OH) to Providence(RI). Called the customer, to report and they said another car will be ready at Cleveland airport. But they refused for an exchange. After wasting 2-3 hours - explaining about the situation, I had to reserve another car at Cleveland and take it from there on .Reviewed Aug 25 2020

Pros:Drop off was, Pull up unload and get going. Very easyCons:Have insurance policy collected prior to arrival would be great. I could not find mine and it was frustrating. It was my fault thinking it would be ok to just use company insurance.Reviewed Jul 22 2020

Pros:Encounters with Hertz staff were very uneven. Kudos to the folks at the Dublin office (renting cars out of a car dealership location). Airport encounter was very disappointing.Cons:My main issue was not with Hertz but with the KAYAK system. Though I have years of extensive travel, this was the first time I remember using KAYAK. I have never had an issue before when the advance booking I made was not at the airport (or adjacent to the airport) location. KAYAK gave me a great rate, but 20 miles away. I spent $40 to get over to the rental car location. The airport staff at Hertz was not helpful....sure we can honor your reservation at this location. The daily rental price would not be $35 a day but $75 a day. I don't have time to go back and dig through the ways this reservation got off-track, but I don't think I'll use KAYAK again.Reviewed Dec 9 2019
