Evidently the car was not cleaned because I found an umbrella, some toys and a bunch of condoms in the rental car. Otherwise it was OK but you may want to make sure that doesn't happen again.Reviewed Dec 29 2021

Pros:Easy pickup and drop offCons:Car was not that clean, smelling of cigarette when I picked it up, and not that big for an Intermediate model.Location is far away from everything and I had to pay an additonnal $20x2 for getting there and back home, so overall a more expensive rental closer to home would have worked better.Reviewed Oct 14 2019

Ask about any holds at the counter before leaving!Pros:The car was fine. Good gas mileage, and it was exactly what we expected.Cons:There was a $200 hold placed on our credit card which we were not informed of when reserving the car or upon picking it up. This threw a wrench into some of our vacation plans and was a serious inconvenience. In the past, we've rented from Budget and never had a hold placed on our card. We wont be using Hertz again.Reviewed Jun 12 2017
