Cons:Rented car on website til Saturday night.. when I checked in I was not told about how they charge til Monday no matter what and that there is no after hour drop off .. she did not extend the rental until Monday instead she told me to call Saturday to do it.. called Saturday and spoke to Angela and found out I can’t extend over The phone because I rented from kayak and I would have to come in Monday when I drop off and get the late fee waved. Just felt like this was a run around and won’t go to kayak or hertz again to rent a care.Reviewed Jun 28 2020

OKPros:pick up and drop off was good and staff was nice and helpful.Cons:Car was in poor condition. Seemed old and smelled bad. Cost double for what i usually pay for rentals and got a lower quality of car. Even thought he staff was great likely wouldnt rent from there again. Did not have the car I reserved. Had to go elsewhere.Pros:I can't think of anything good to say about the experience. Even getting a refund was a small hassle. The whole experience was like a bad version of a Seinfeld episode.Cons:I paid a premium for an upgraded SUV and they tried to give me something that was 50% smaller. The cars exterior and interior was filthy. It looked like the previous renter had been transporting their shedding pets as the seats were already stowed when the sales rep tried to talk me into taking it. Actually, he was quite apathetic about the whole situation and gave me a toll free number to call and cancel myself since I booked through Kayak.Reviewed Jul 1 2017

Customer ServicePros:The Ladies that work the counter at the Clinton Township, MI-office are multitasking queens! They always smiled, joked, complimented and acted fast. One girl was helping 4 of us at one time, kept everyone smiling and had 2 guys in the office behind her just sitting around with coffee! That would have pissed me off if she wasn't to fast and friendly! All of the customers were laughing! Great Job!!!Cons:Confused on weather I had insurance with Kayak or not-so I paid for insurance at Hertz. The reservation wasn't clear and I could not get into my phone fast enough with the long line. HorriblePros:The priceCons:Can't use debit card and i still haven't got my refund. Refund was supposed to be processed and done on the first day. It's been 5 days and still nothing. I prepaid insurance as well for a car I was not allowed to use. No refund from the insurance of 36 dollars. Why was the payment from my reservation processed without asking for deposit from a credit card? I can't receive a refund in the store? Why not? Now I have to wait for a refund and travel with someone else because I have no vehicle. Customer service was horrible. I was put on hold for ten minutes.Reviewed Sep 6 2016
