Pros: Quality and atmosphere of the hotel. Comfortable bed spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel was also situated near the train station and plenty of high street shops. Restaurant food was excellent, especially the rib eye stake.

Cons: My single room was facing the backyard where one could here the sounds of some sort of a generator all night long. But actually this did not prevent me from having a really good night sleep.

Cons: Noise isolation of the rooms was not particularly good - we were a bit bothered during the night. The breakfast was decent, but the serving area a little crowded, especially during the breakfast rush hour. The atmosphere was very good, though.

Cons: Our pre-booked parking slot was occupied so the staff have to re-park their car. In general the staff was not very friendly. When we came to the reception in they talked by the phone for another 5 min until pay attention to us. The rooms itself needs renovation and small touches for the furniture, doors and bathroom. For that price it should be done asap. Soundproofing is absent and there was a industrial noize from the chiller in the internal yard almost for the whole night.

Cons: Overall both bedrooms and public rooms a bit dark. We had a ceiling light out in our room and although we requested it to be replaced on day 1 it hadn't been done when we checked out am day six. Also hardly any hangers when we arrived, they were very helpful and managed to rustle up another four, but they were just wire ones, it didn't seem like a difficult request to us.

Selection of food for breakfast was really good with option of outside seating. Room was small but comfortable with adequate facilities. Ok for my needs being single. Cons: Room was very very small and floors not partiqualar clean. Though bathroom was OK. Not possible to make coffee/tea in room. No AC in room but a noisy old fan. Tea selection from bar was super poor.

Cons: Although I made my booking on the 1st November 2018, which was confirmed with a booking reference number, upon my arrival at the hotel my booking was not entered on the hotel's database, so there was some delay in checking-in. However the receptionist on duty had to make / re-enter my booking on the computer, which she did in good time. Full credit to her.

Cons: The room lighting was not good. Although the staff were very pleasant the hotel is a fairly impersonal affair. It would have been great to have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and a small fridge or other cooler place at least on the pet floor to keep pet food overnight.

Pros: The room was very spacious and by chance was in a very favorable location for us to walk and go around. Breakfast was not very generous, however it suited us well.
Cons: We were placed in a corner bedroom on the 4th floor, however, once in the room it was only 2 floors up from the street. So there was a bit of noise there with the cars and the traffic light situated right below our room. The constant sound of the walk/ don’t walk signals was nonstop. So next time we should remember to request another room facing inwards..
