Pros: Everything
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Wall Heater/AC unit was extremely noisy and the filter was very dirty. We had to turn it off to be able to sleep.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Quiet and secluded, but easy walk to city center. Warm and welcoming staff. Very pleasant gathering room and garden courtyard.
Cons: Guestrooms somewhat small, but comfortable. On your own for on-street metered (during weekdays) parking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful B&B on beautiful Jones Street within walking distance to all the historic places we wanted to visit.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ours was a big birthday stay and we were even treated with a birthday card, a room upgrade and a lovely book of Savannah! Kudos to the breakfast staff...the french toast was the best. The stay was just perfect. Thank you.
Cons: I wish we could have stayed longer.
9,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The front desk staff seemed to show a genuine interest in our day or plans to come, Kelly always mentioned other ideas or have her view of ours. We will definitely be staying here again.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the middle of the historic district, very nice and charming hotel, loved the living room where the hotel offers drinks and some food, very nice courtyard, comfortable bedrooms, good breakfast Really liked our stay there
Cons: We were not really helped to carry the luggage at check out to the car. It was raining and the guy seemed not willing to get wet. Only stairs to reach the reception desk with the luggage The advice on the restaurants around could have been better
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Kelly who worked at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. She immediately made us feel at home. I will definitely return to the Eliza Thompson House -- such a special place!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We usually stop half way from Charlotte, NC to Orlando on our family visits, but we have never found a better place than this. It is right in the middle of the historic district and the employees are top notch! The breakfast is fantastic! It reminds me of an upscale European B and B. Highly recommended!!
Cons: No espresso machine! Wah wah. In Spain, France, and Italy you can find espresso (they just call it a caffe') in many hotels of this size. BUT if this is all I found wrong with this place you had better make that reservation!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! Staff was superb.
Cons: Weather.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality of the staff was excellent. They were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was substantial and very good as well.
Cons: A/C units in the room are loud and bathrooms could use updating and were very small.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is opulent. Rooms were large and very comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing building and decor. We got this as a single night special outing to close out 2019. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant and the valet was always on time.
Cons: Did not see any mention of a security deposit of $100 to stay on the grounds. The valet parking is also $35 per night.
7,5 Good
Pros: The rooms are very nice, big and comfortable.
Cons: Would prefer a hotel without dogs. One night while relaxing a dog would not spot barking. Owners must have gone out and left it alone in the room. We called the front desk to report it. The rooms have one mirror in the room that has a shape that distorts and can actually make you nauseas when u look at yourself.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is wonderful with views of Forsyth Park.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: There were light bulbs out in the room and bathroom
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of the staff. All staff members were very friendly and went out of their way to make our visit (which was also our anniversary) special.
Cons: We ordered cocktails before going to dinner on the 31st, the bar did not have multiple Vodkas (the waitress did not know that was the case, because she kept returning to our table to tell us that the bar was out). It took us almost 35 minutes to get four drinks. Unfortunatley, this was not the only time that the bar was out of a particular brand of liquor and that it took a long time to get drinks. Time management and knowing brand availability in the bar area will truly enhance this hotel even more.
9,0 Excellent
Cons: Showers need a little maintenance.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were awesome. Location was perfect. Walk to nearby restaurants and tourist attractions (and grocery / coffee shops) through gorgeous streets. On street parking easy to find so don't pay expensive parking at hotel. Fabulous breakfast food and venue. Beds as good as home. Rooms luxurious. Pool wonderful. Hotel staff were very flexible with requests.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super helpful and friendly. Very comfortable, quick to make things right if there was a problem.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and staff!
Cons: A bit overpriced
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location in the Historic District and great food. While there were a few hiccups - the first room they put us in did not have the bath in it & every room service order was wrong - the staff we're great at fixing things quickly. Would stay ag
Cons: The bed ran really hot with the mattress toppers they use - we all kinda struggled to sleep due to this. Pool is a relaxation pool - great for a dip but tiny (not your usual sized resort pool. We went in winter so not an issue
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff & excellent location.
Cons: View: we were in a room that overlooked the HVAC system — but really spent so little time in the room during daylight hours, so it didn’t chatnge how happy we were with the experience. If we are planning a longer stay, we will book a room overlooking the courtyard or the park.

9,4 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing, breakfast was wonderful plus they had cheese and and wine and a late night snack in the freezer(ice cream) each night.
Cons: Some rooms had old carpet that smelled but they were very accommodating when we asked to switch. We then got hard wood floors and it was great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great southern charm with the nicest staff in savanah!
Cons: No. I didnt like that I couldn''t stay longer.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No parking or breakfast fee
5,0 Okay
Pros: Staff extremely friendly and helpful!
Cons: Cleanliness of room. Coffee cups in room were dirty and crusty, we could not use. Robes laid out on bed for us were stained with shower towels were definitely worn and old stains.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely stay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great: right on the river in the historic district with lots of restaurants and bars a short walk away.
Cons: Our visit was too short.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The old style of the hotel. Very comfortable. Suite was roomy. Pet friendly and welcoming. Buffet breakfast was reasonable in price and delicious.
Cons: Housekeeping came a little early in the morning. Since we were on vacation, we got off to a later start. Although they left towels, out room was not serviced. I did request for service but because we had a pet that was in the room and we were gone for a bit, their policy didn’t allow them to enter without us there. We understood this but this wasn’t explained before and those, no service in the room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location right on the Riverfront and short walk to shops and restaurants. They have complimentary wine and cheese in the lobby every evening at 5-7. Restaurant buffet every morning 8-10 (but costs $12 per person).
Cons: Bathroom tile had mildew discoloration. Staff was kind, but the buffet attendant was not well trained, never offered us anything, had to ask for a second cup of coffee each morning, and was not at all attentive. The buffet is continental style which many hotels offer complimentary, we found out that it wasn’t when we checked out and the meals were added to our charge. Parking is additional at $20 per day.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely renovated and modernized retaining it's character with a rustic feel. Upbeat and friendly staff. Great location.
Cons: No complaints
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The service was unmatched. We were warmly welcomed with our large dog, who got his own goody bag complete with treats, a tennis ball, and poop bags. Our room was gorgeous with an unbeatable view of the river. Our balcony was the perfect vantage point for the New Year's fireworks display.
Cons: Our mini fridge was broken, but that's nothing compared to the good value of the room quality and location. Also, for as much as it costs you would think breakfast would be free. It was only $10.95 per person, but the food was the same basic continental fare you would expect. You're better off going out to breakfast. This was more than compensated for by the free coffee all day and the free wine and appetizer social hour every night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and wine and cheese reception. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Could improve on bathroom cleanliness

3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Made a reservation for my husbands birthday for a dolphin boat ride and dinner with concierge. When we showed up for our boat ride they had no such reservation. They scrambled to find a captain and we had a 45min ride with none of the scheduled appies and champagne. We were still charged for the ride. Terrible customer service.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The exclusivities and everything. Such a gorgeous property. We will be back again.
Cons: The bugs but that’s out of their control
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of their way to make one feel at home & pampered. Uniquely luxurious combination!
Cons: Only thing was the $100 pet fee which is higher than most & also unexpected. I had read there was no charge (when I booked thru one of the web applications - might be worth checking?!) sounds petty as all the rest was fabulous!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quality of room, lodging, campus, food only exceeded by the friendliness/professionalism of the staff. From housekeeping to front desk.

Pros: It was a great place. We really enjoyed here. The only tiny problem was shower water not enough hot. That all. We definitely book again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Personable staff
6,0 Good
Pros: Location. Pet friendly.
Cons: I do appreciate the pet friendly hotel! Super kind staff checking in, we were given a doggie treat bag. Parking is extremely limited. While I do understand the hotel was built in the 1800s some neccessary upkeep and improvements need to be made. Bathroom was very old and stained. Toilet actually stopped working. Carpet. I did not feel comfortable with the very stained carpet, I'm assuming because of the pets. We are very careful and keep the pet diaper on our little old guy to prevent marking and leaking bladders. It is loud on the first floor but totally understandable. The door to our room had rotted at the bottom and you could clearly see under the door. The bed/mattress was comfortable. Great location, close proximity to park and river front. We were in town for FSU hockey. We never moved the car! Beautiful city. I think it would be wise to remove the carpet and stick to wood floors with pet friendly hotels.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The best part of this hotel is having the turndown service the staff was more than welcomeing and they all were very sweet very and professional the hotel was very nice, and clean. Overall I love it
Cons: There is not one bad thing that I could say about this hotel it's over the top beautiful amazing.
4,0 Okay
Cons: Bed. Old uncomfortable mattress. Noisy room - heard the people upstairs constantly walking and moving their luggage. Heard people in hallway slamming doors starting at 7am. I requested top floor, received lower floor. Requested to not be by elevator, was placed immediately by elevator.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Drink tickets, hotel character, friendly staff (reception and cleaning staff) and bartender, and location was wonderful. We had a very nice stay with our family of 5 (3 under 4) and would definitely go back.
Cons: Nothing was dirty per se, but the bathroom could have been cleaner/a bit more updated. There was lots of dust in not so hard to reach places and some areas that could have been a bit better maintained (paint, caulk, etc).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: So close to everything, friendly helpful staff and super clean.
Cons: No
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The entire staff was friendly and very helpful.
Cons: being a pet friendly place, some guests were inconsiderate and left dogs that barked incessantly. The staff took care of the issues as fast as they could.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and amazing food at the lower level restaurant. Love the history and location.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the continental breakfast, which was very good and the complimentary wine and cheese happy hour!

Cons: Did not like breakfast
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great as usual. Overall it was a good experience.
Cons: The breakfast historically has been more robust. It seems as if they have cut back some.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: It's very well located, as right between river-front attractions and Scad, and Leopold's. The breakfast is good and includes a smoothie (although a bit too sweet for me).
Cons: The so-called-and-charged "river view" is covered by tall trees.
7,1 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: Valley parking was $30/day and this was not mentioned until arrival. We requested adjoining rooms and that did not happen either.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Price of parking, AC didn't work at first then made so much noise when it did. Outside noise went on all night. Generators, trucks, garbage bin lids. Was not a good stay.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Location close to everything. Room was on 7th floor with nice views. Breakfast in the morning was good. Clean comfortable beds. Parking was a little pricy but was very convenient.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, Friendliness of the Staff...individually and collectively from initial valet assistance, bellperson, registration, housekeeping, etc. Julia in concierge was very accommodating and deserves the “ABCD AWARD” (Above & Beyond the Call of Duty). She made dinner reservations for us and actually walked us to the corner to make sure her directions were clear.
Cons: Maneuvering traffic while attempting to get into the hotel’s small parking area to register and valet.

Pros: Everything about the stay was wonderful. Check in and out was quick, room was great beautiful view of Savannah River. Food was awesome. Lobby was comfortable
Cons: Parking. Valet service was great but needed better free parking

Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the location was great. The staff was helpful. We were very pleased with the suite. The breakfast was free, but not impressive. Typical Hampton Inn breakfast which I don't care for.
Cons: Breakfast and price of parking our car
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Staff was very accommodating. The rooftop bar and pool was amazing!
Cons: I thought I booked a 2 room suite - but upon arrival it was only 1 room. I am not sure if I booked the wrong accommodations - or if the room was changed.

Pros: The hotel, on the river, was close to everything. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room wasn't ready upon arrival, but luggage was put in storage & we were given $2.00 coupons for drinks/snacks at the rooftop bar. Loved Breakfast & Happy Hour.
Cons: It was a bit expensive ($32 per night) to park, but the valets were super friendly and helpful.
7,0 Good
Pros: great room, views.
Cons: Breakfast not as good as the Holiday Inn/etc. properties. Was disappointed in fruit and protein options. Will likely stay elsewhere next time because of this.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the large room, mini kitchen, convenience of the complimentary breakfast, view and balcony.
Cons: Only Valet parking available at $32. I could understand if we were in the middle of the city but the hotel is located on the outskirts. We stayed in room 406 which was a very nice little suite. Unfortunately, the toilet was very unstable when sitting on it. I think the tank and bowl weren’t aligned properly causing it to klunk loudly everytime we sat on it. In addition, the lock on the door leading to the balcony was broken.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, studio suite had enough room.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice social
Cons: Valet parking was mandatory and over priced.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: No public parking garages close to the hotel. You can park on the street but have move your car by 8AM.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Some of the friendliest staff we have ever met.
Cons: The pillows suck! Bring your own.

Pros: It was too crowded at breakfast time and very hard to find a place to sit
Cons: Additional bread toaster would have reduced the waiting time
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great--there were many choices for different types of diets. Additionally, coffee/tea/hot chocolate was available around the clock. The staff was very personable and responded quickly when certain items were no longer available.
Cons: TV choices could have been better--like more movie channels for families. Netflix was available but you had sign in with your passcode. Other than than, the rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: New and clean.
Cons: The temp on the thermostat for the A/C would reset to UNDESIRED temp automatically. If a person rents a room they should be able to set A/C on the temp that person desires and it should not be tampered with until that person is no longer renting that room
7,4 Good
Pros: Clean and New Basic Room was good for staying at the hotel for sleeping. We toured the city and beach area and were out most of the day. The rooms were nicely decorated and new. Garage is nice to use to go directly into the floor of my room, and was very easy to unload my suitcase. I did not see a luggage carrier to use. I liked having breakfast included. If you just need a good basic room with breakfast that is a decent price -this is a good choice.
Cons: The location is Okay, but was farther out from the city then I would of liked. But for the money you sacrifice location. The Breakfast was larger then normal with more options and was above normal for hotels but not amazing. I did not like having to pay for parking, but just add the $12 fee to the total price to compare with other hotels. Parking is an issue downtown but not sure why had to add the cost of parking further out in a more suburban area. WiFi was okay for emails but had to pay extra for streaming WiFi. Pool was very small and only holds 19 people and very small space. I missed having a courtyard outside just to sit outside and relax.

Pros: Location was good and the cost for the stay was ok
Cons: We requested a non smoking room and it was labeled as such, but it smelled like the last guests smoked in the room. The TV was either going or the cable was bad...either way, all TV channels were very snowy. Lastly, the light switch /plug in the vanity area was not functioning. We reset the breaker several times before the light would go on and then when the light was on the plug didn't work. I mentioned all to the desk clerk at checkout and she seemed disinterested although she did write down the issues. There are other hotels in the area and we'd probably choose a different facility the next time we travel in that area. Not sure if there are new owners or what, but it looks like things have trended down since our stay last April.

Pros: Location. Easy access to Interstate 95.

Pros: Nothing. We made a mistake in booking this hotel.
Cons: Dead, squished roach left on the bathroom floor; large hole in the bathroom wall; filthy, moldy tile grout on floor; dirty tub with cigarette Burns in the finish; dirt in the bed when sheets were pulled down.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Hot shower, breakfast was good. The staff at breakfast was pleasant and friendly.
Cons: Room was damp, a/c air smelled, carpet was dirty. Beds were too soft and low to the ground. During shower, dirt was coming off my feet from walking barefoot on the hotel room carpet. Distant trains were running throughout the early morning- nearby train tracks. Not a good choice for families- typical low rent "motel-6" style stay. Should be rated by booking.com customers as less than good- rating was misleading. Maybe guests are just being nice. It is what it is...
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was a great value. The free breakfast was amazing and the pool was a nice added touch. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was easy to find.
Cons: The shower had brown stains on the floor. The a/c kept half of the room cooler than the other half. One guest has to freeze in order to keep the other guest cool.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to a suite. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Will stay there again when in area.

Pros: The front desk staff were friendly and greeted me upon arrival and when I checked out.

Pros: Free breakfast. Close to Savannah.
Cons: Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke but only at certain times of the day/night. It was not coming from outside-we opened the window in 100 degree heat for fresh air. Probably the room below us. Complained to front desk but the smell always came back.

Cons: Carpets were dirty, stairwells not vacuumed, room smelled.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was acceptable, the only good part of our stay.
Cons: We were told we had to stay on the first floor because of our pet. That the wood floors are more forgiving if a pet had an accident and also, easier for the cleaning staff to manage. It seems they chose not to use any type of cleaner when caring for the room because it smelled of a combination of mildew and animal aromas. The shower curtain smelled and was very tattered. The stair well area near our exit was filthy. Our door did not solidly shut, though it did lock. Will not stay here again.
