10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff, particularly Michael and Luca, were phenomenal! Very cordial, with highest levels of service. We really enjoyed the thermal spa next door to the hotel, and hiking to the high castle. Katharina is the perfect hostess. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel (and we travel a lot). Pit and Nadine Martin
Cons: That we had to leave

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in the perfect location next to the Thermal Baths. We were in the town center and lots of shopping and places to eat! Really enjoyed the cleanliness of the town and how close the hotel was to everything! Parking was easy and check in was quiet and great. The hotel is definitely a must visit! Was upgraded to a bigger room for FREE! The mini - bar was stocked and complimentary.
Cons: Everything was Great!
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds, unexpected and lovely included snacks, spacious room, easy underground passage to Caracalla, walking distance to core Baden Baden, pleasant staff. The best place we stayed the entire trip.
Cons: A minor thing but truly awkward for friends traveling together is the window looking directly into the shower from the bedroom. Is it supposed to be sexy? I’m not sure it would be even if I was with my spouse. Don’t let that stop you from staying here though, the place is fantastic.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location Great breakfast with fresh juices Connected to wellness via underground
Cons: Pricy

Pros: Beautiful property with a small river flowing through the gardens.
Cons: No coffee machine in the room.
7,5 Good
Pros: Arriving at the property was very pleasant, no hussle with parking car and receptionist was very frindly. The location in the city within the park is just spactacular, having afternoon tea or Champagne is wonderfull, also having breakfeast outside is very pleasant.
Cons: Staff in the restaurant was not efficient and we did get served wrong wine and the temparature of the wine was not satisfying, and getting sugested by the staff to put ice in the wine is not appropriate, and every wine lover will be not impressed by this. Breakfeast was disappointing, service slow and do not expect a perfect eggs benedict, it was hard boiled and not enjoyable, also the frsh fruit selection was poor. The room was small, do not expect any digital gagdes, this is very old style rooms and the wall paper is very colorfull and interesting. Bathroom need to be redone, in such a small bathroom having a bath, is not up to any standards and was mmy biggest disapoinment in the Hotel.
9,0 Excellent
Cons: Unfortunately the pool was not very clean. I used the pool two non-consecutive days and the same small pieces of trash was in the pool each time. I wonder why it was not checked frequently.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! This place is honestly a hidden gem!! The breakfast matches in quality a 5* hotel, the staff is super nice and very attentive, the house is typically decorated and very genuine with a particular taste for cars scattered around the place, we very much enjoyed a friendly cat strolling around the property and the details (tips for events, workshops in the afternoon, a cake on arrival).. we didn't have enough time to explore it all, but we will be back in the summer to enjoy the nature ! Enjoy :)
Cons: The bed wasn't super comfortable and the bathroom is a bit outdated
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super location and facilities. The hosts and staff are professional and kind. Homy hotel yet classy and cosy. Close to both Baden-Baden and Gaggenau but in the middle of the forest. Restaurant is excellent and fairly priced with delicious local trout specialties. Breakfast is literally amazing. Kudos to the owners who make this place a pearl, and precious romantic getaway. Will recommend AND COME BACK .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location staff and the Breakfast
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good bed and decent shower. Complimentary fruit and water in the room upon arrival was a nice touch. Great breakfast! Very large selection of breads, pretzels, meats, cheeses, spreads, fruits, fish... Eggs made to your liking. Great atmosphere with all the wood and red carpets, really felt at ease here.
Cons: Parking was pretty full upon arrival, I managed to get the last free spot. It is probably better when the restaurant is not filled with people. Arriving a quarter before ten it took some time before someone arrived to help at the reception. I had not read that I should ask in the restaurant. Some notice about that at the reception or someway to notice someone (like a bell or something) would have been nice.

Pros: Grand schloss but rooms in modernised annexe well appointed
7,0 Good
Pros: The food was good overall, breakfast above average (for Germany) and friendly staff.
Cons: Unfortunately, the cleanliness inside the room was bellow average, the Wi-Fi was not working, the rooms were very small and outside the Castle itself but in a simple side building. Most importantly, the owners were very rude and made us feel very unwelcome.
7,9 Good
Pros: Staff were great. Even let us check in early. Bed was comfortable there is a Michelin rated restaurant on site, but we opted for the small Romerkeller across the street. Great food and atmosphere.
Cons: WiFi didn’t work. Had to stand in the hall by my door to get any signal. No hair drier. Breakfast did have hot eggs but for the money, was very basic. It just seemed like the restaurant was the main concern and the hotel just an after thought.

Pros: Room is clean and very comfortable. Staffs are helpful. 1 star Michelin restaurant in the property is fabulous, recommend to try.

Pros: What a surprise. The hotel is beautiful and ad super comfortable. The shower is great. And the restaurant is a must. Price is very reasonable for a one star Michelin.

Cons: Room and bathroom are a bit outdated, We missed a tea maker in the room and a small fridge in which we could keep some stuff cool.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I very specifically needed to stay in that town because I was researching my family history. I could not have been happier with the location, the ability to walk or take the bus to the surrounding small towns. The view of the black forest is amazing, the restaurant (and the wine selection) was very impressive. Loved the focus on local cuisine, locally-sourced food and of course the local wines. Such a peaceful place.
Cons: Just a note that you should rent a car if you plan to get there. It's not easy with luggage from a major city and also expensive to hire a car. But that's just a heads-up, nothing to do with my stay itself.

Cons: My family and I, a family of six adults, were very insulted by the treatment we received from one of their staff when we arrived to check-in. When we parked our car outside the hotel lobby to drop-off our many luggages for check-in, one of their staff came out to talk to us. At first we thought she was greeting us or offering us help to bring the luggages in, unfortunately the staff condescendingly informed us that the hotel has "no asian group bookings today" and we have gotten the wrong hotel. As she spoke to us slowly as if we were couldn't understand english, she stood between us and the door with us on the sidewalk with our many luggages looking as if we were rejected from the hotel. To assume & insist that we had gotten the wrong hotel before we had the chance to come to the front desk and told them of our reservation is very rude and degrading - the worst treatment we have ever received by a hotel front desk. No apology was made to us when I told her we were at the right hotel and showed her my proof of reservation. The rooms are huge but not equipped with a suitable heater for a room that big - making it very cold in the winter. There's no minibar, kettle, coffee or tea in the room. Tea and coffee is provided downstairs at the lobby which causes inconvenience whenever we want a hot drink in our room. The chandelier in the room was falling out from the ceiling. The only thing this hotel is good for is their location. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to anyone.
7,0 Good
Pros: proximity to the bath houses and the historic downtown
Cons: When I reserve a large double bed, I expect a large double bed, not two small beds pushed together with a huge gap in the middle. Not at all the same level of comfort. A very disappointing experience.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The huge central staircase, great breakfast, friendly staff, tea & coffee in the lobby. Really comfortable bed.

Pros: Great Value for money considering you are in Baden Baden and just 200 meter away from Caracalla. Breakfast is ok but nothing to write home about - mainly discounter components but served in style and sufficient in qty. Room ok and clean with sufficient appliances in the newley renovated bathroom.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location is unbeatable. Right across the spas and close to great restaurants. The rooms were clean, and the staff spoke English and was very friendly.
Cons: They do not have parking. Although the public (paid) parking is at walking distance, the walkways are not very friendly for carrying your 4-wheel luggage. The walk-in shower was smaller than small, and the drain was not working properly, I had to turn the shower on and off to wait for the water to go down. Had I stayed more than one night I would have complained. For one night only, it is good. I was expecting more of the breakfast, considering the hotel has a Cafe open to public with beautiful pies. But none of these pies were available. It was a breakfast with poor options if compared to other small European hotels I have stayed.

Pros: It's a cosy small hotel with the best location in Baden-Baden. Good, copious breakfast. Vey clean.
Cons: I didn't like the staff. The most of them were arrogant and not nice. I think it's because we are tourists, with local guests they were ore amiable.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Fair breakfast. Good location.
Cons: Not the best sound isolation. We could hear the people in the room next to us and the bed cracking. A bit on the expensive side.

Pros: Good for families and great location
Cons: No private parking
6,0 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel in proximity to our activities. The breakfast was good but the staff was rude.
Cons: I didn’t like the check-in or checkout service. The staff was extremely unprofessional during checkout and didn’t even ask me how I liked my stay. Considering this is a 4 star hotel that people pay for better quality services could be provided. Please teach your staff more about etiquette it would be especially beneficial for your business if you would like returning customers. During the checkout service the staff was extremely rude when I questioned my invoice about the possibility of a pre-payment on my credit card. The staff also mentioned that there was the possibility during my check in service of an error made by a new staff member who had only been there a week and that she didn’t know what she was doing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic!
Cons: Excellent hotel, just a minute walk from the station. Room is outstanding. Great swimming pool, spa, tennis, squash, and gym (one of the best I've seen at hotels). Did not try the restuarant, but the locals told me it's one of the best in town.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Excellent breakfast. The bathtub in the room has thermal water. The spa area though small is also very good.
Cons: Has no parking. In fact it is better to park at the entrance of the city, in one of P+R as the fees for the parking in the city are high, up to 30 euros per day.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast & friendly staff, great location as the hotel is right in the centre of the town
