The time the hot tubs closed at.
Loved the Hotel, Perfect location and comfortable
The Location The Bar The rooms The style
The staff was helpful enough, but not the most welcoming front desk I have ever come across. The breakfast room is a bit like a cave.
Great hotel one heart of Galway
Beautiful hotel with spacious and elegant rooms at the center and heart of Galway, only a 1 minute walk to the train station and a 3 minute walk to the Latin quarter. The hotel is in a beautiful stone turn of the century building that has been updated with all modern amenities. The rooms make you feel like you're staying in a palace.
no water in the room which i would expect 4* to have and then charged 8 euro for 3 small bottles , breakfast very basic and parking again there was a charge
The location is fantastic really central. The staff I dealt with were excellent receptionist and Porter.
the location is very good
Excellent value- we got a special deal for 26euro for 2 people including breakfast! A hostel would have been more expensive. We are still wondering if it was a mistake!
The decor is looking a little tired for a 4 star.
The hotel's location is ideal. The staff were helpful and friendly.
There was no parking facilities on the grounds of the hotel, we were to use the nearest public car park. Our room was not ready on arrival, the reception rest rooms were overdue a clean. As this used to be the Great Southern Hotel, I was keen to stay here but disappointed as not up to the standard as the Great Southern Hotel. Breakfast the following morning was disappointing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is situated right in the centre of town.
staff and restaurant
room pokey, paint falling off ceiling, no air conditioning, fridge broken, poor standard for its star rating
complimentary glass of champagne and valet parking
THe hotel was fabulous and the room was very comfortable
Outdoor hot tub
