The price seemed a little high although I understand that it was Estoril... Also there was a gardener very early in the morning with a gas blower blowing leaves or something. Very annoying.

Good value for the price.
I paid about US$35 per night. At that price, I would say it was a good value for basic accommodations. I wouldn't pay too much more, though, and actually changed hotels because I was not able to get that price for further nights. Pleasant neighborhood.
