Pros:People were nice, even if not Covid-19 safe.Cons:Had to check at three different rental car checkpoints before finding someone with the Enterprise group that could give us our rental car. Person who got our car wasn’t wearing a Covid-19 mask over her nose, and I had to touch the computer to finish. Lastly, the Ford we rented had a terrible navigation and audio interface, both of which were dangerous to use.Reviewed Aug 26 2020

Refused to honor the Kayak Rental AgreementPros:We had a rental agreement through Kayak for an Intermediate car at the Morse Rd Office of Enterprise. Upon arrival, the Office Manager claimed that no vehicles were available. This was not true, because two other Agents said that I could be accomodated, but the Manager over rode them. Instead he forced a Ford F250 pickup truck on us. My wife and I are senior citiizens and found it extremely difficult trying to get into out of the vehicle. Both of us fell twice. I am certain we received this treatment because the Manager wanted to rid his lot of a vehicle that he could not rent.Cons:We had a rental agreement through Kayak for an Intermediate car at the Morse Rd Office of Enterprise. Lack of info on kayaks partCons:Since kayak failed to give me proper information on what I needed to actually rent the car, when I arrived to pick up the car hours before my planned vacation, I was unable to do so. I understand it may be an "inconvenience" on kayaks part to give every detail on what is needed to rent in each individual state, however, there should be some sort of warning or info on how to find exact qualifications or proper paperwork. Since it was such a short notice and I was unable to provide what was needed, I had to make much more expensive and inconvenient plans to barely make it to my trip. The only positive aspect to this situation is that the man working, tried to be as helpful as possible but at the time all options were out of his hands. Please consider being more forthcoming with guidelines and restrictions so others can ovoid such stressful situations. (This is not a bad review for enterprise but KAYAK)Reviewed Jul 28 2016

Poor customer serviceCons:I didn't get the rental car because i didn't know that i needed a major credit card and i rent from enterprise all the time. And the clerk was very rude and took the next customer in line and i was still at the desk. So called next without me getting a word out. And i was already in line and i was standing in the wrong line because they didn't have the sign turned so the customers couldn't see the sign and i was the next person in line and two more people walked up and she took them in front of me instead of taking me and i was there before them.Reviewed Mar 19 2017

Pros:1. Friendly staff. 2. Preferred vehicle availability.Cons:1. Too much upselling and attempting to make what you've already booked online at a certain price appear as a discount by saying that the vehicle you requested is actually more but that they've chosen to give you a deal. To be honest, a bit disappointing and mildly insulting. Also, there was a great effort to downplay the value / benefit of the third parties (kayak) insurance package over that offered by the company itself. Having stated that I had already purchased full coverage I was still sort of brow beaten into purchasing their package. In the end I regret not having just said no thank you to anything extra. Upon reflection I probably should have just cancelled my booking altogether when it became apparent that it was deviating from what I'd already booked. Pros:That you gave us another car without any hassle when the first one didn't work.Cons:You charged us $56 for a service truck to come out and charge the battery. It was YOUR car to begin with! Why did you charge us, when it was clear the car was defective? (Otherwise, why swap out cars?) You have now lost two good customers, and we will recommend to others NOT to use you for car rentals. Your phone people were also rude to us when we called about the $56 charge, even though your office guy on site told us he would NOT charge us that fee! (Because the first car failed when we had spent 45 minutes getting a 90-year old into the car, your agent felt bad about that and said our credit card bill would NOT reflect that charge. We were charged anyway, and the phone people were absolutely NO help at all. She kept asking for the office guy's name, and when we couldn't say, she became even nastier.) Awful Customer Service Rep at EnterprisePros:NOTHINGCons:I recently traveled from Orlando, Florida to Columbus, OH. I approached the Enterprise airport location rental counter only to experience a cold, uncaring customer service rep. The gentleman was less than welcoming. Initially he was unable to find my reservation. When I showed him the printed confirmation sheet he looked at the paper and commented "well duh! I see your problem, your at the wrong location" I asked him him then if there was anyway I could get a rental from the Columbus Airport location. He glanced at his screen and said "No". Knowing that I had just arrived at the airport and that the other Enterprise locations were already closed, he showed no concern, no care and exhibited rude and unprofessional customer service. He exhibited no effort to help me. I told him thank your for his help, which was little to nothing in reality and said I would check with Hertz. He said ok and picked up his cell phone and began scrolling through what I could only imagine was Facebook or Tinder. The Hertz customer service rep welcomed me warmly, obtained an upgraded vehicle from what my Enterprise rental would have been all at a lower price. Hertz was fast, efficient and exhibited professional customer service. Based on my experience with your customer service rep at the Columbus, OH airport location I will never use Enterprise Rental again for any services. The clerk was rude and showed no concern for my issue nor did he try to rectify and correct the problem. I certainly hope he found a date on Tinder as he seemed more concern with his cell phone than keeping a customer.Reviewed Mar 9 2017
