We booked a rental car and received confirmation email. We showed up at the counter and no one was there. It took an hour for economy to track down the person to come to the booth, who then informed us there was no cars available despite us booking a reservation. We had to get a car with another company for four times what you quoted us and I would like compensation for the inconvenience and failure to deliver.Reviewed Jan 11 2026

Got scammed into being forced to use their liability insurance even though I had my own, which triples the booking price. Technically against California law, but they know no one will pursue it. They know you’ll have to take a shuttle elsewhere and spend hours rebooking a car, and they just won’t give you the car unless you pay for it.Reviewed Dec 14 2025

Flight from Fiji was delayed. By the time we went through customs and picked up bags and made it to the off site for car rental we were informed that I reservation was canceled after 2 hrs of pick up time. We were stranded in airport.Reviewed Nov 28 2025

We waited for almost an hour for the pick up shuttle, 30 minutes at their office and the car was still not ready 90 minutes after the scheduled reservation. We reserved a full size vehicle and received a Toyota Corolla which is definitely full size and then it smelled like weed inside. Terrible experience money took out my account a week ahead of time day of rental never received a rental having to dispute with my credit card company to try to retrieve my money back. This was a terrible experience from the start. Their “shuttle” was being repaired so they sent a car that couldn’t fit everyone - despite me calling and telling them that we had golf bags. When we got to the check in, they refused to accept my credit card insurance - despite this being acceptable with every other car rental company I’ve rented from. They said it was in their “terms and conditions” and then pointed to some small print on a page. The car was OK, although one of the rear tires lost significant pressure on our small drive out to Kiawah and back again. Lastly, I filled the tank at a nearby gas station before return and they still charged me for refueling. I called to tell the I had receipts from the gas station and that I could prove that this gas station was only 2 miles from their location but the lady I spoke to refused to refund me the $20 they had charged, saying that the discrepancy must be because “the gas station was so far away” Terrible experience.
