The pick-up process was long, and the staff was not very customer-friendly. The vehicle seats were heavily stained, and we were told to have them cleaned and that they would reimburse us. We asked to extend the rental period by two days, and we ended up paying a higher rate than the rental agent quoted at the end. When we returned the vehicle, we requested a final invoice to be printed, and we were told one would be emailed to us. We have yet to receive the final invoice as of this date. The office staff at drop-off were not very helpful, and you get the feeling they are doing you a favor by answering your questions. Will not rent from them againReviewed Sept 9 2026

Confused customer with a final receipt that charged for fuel when the tank was full at drop off. According to Budget, that charge was erroneous put on the statement. Still pending whether this was charged or not in my credit card It is my observation that car rental companies frequently add unexpected local taxes, airport surcharges, port access fee that were completely hidden or explicitly excluded in original booking confirmations. I have made a good faith effort to resolve this issue with Budget via multiple emails but got nowhere I will therefore take this up with my credit card company to dispute the charge This will be the last time I will ever rent with Budget or any of the Avis group brands when I'm in the USReviewed Sept 7 2026
