Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's convenient location, noting its proximity to local attractions, Lake Superior, and the hospital. However, many reviews highlighted significant issues with cleanliness, including dirty rooms, unpleasant smells, and poorly maintained common areas. The breakfast received overwhelmingly negative feedback for its limited options, lack of cleanliness, and poor quality. Service was also criticized, with reports of rude staff, unresponsiveness, and lack of housekeeping. While a few guests mentioned comfortable beds and quiet rooms, the overall sentiment was that the hotel did not meet expectations in several key areas.

We had to check out early after being treated rudely by a woman who may have worked there with red hair. She threatened my granddaughter and I reported it to the front desk as we ckd out early to avoid another confrontation. My granddaughter and her friend were scared and I was very uncomfortable.

Pros (+) The guy who checked me in was friendly and personable. Also Maids were very friendly and helpful to guests when I witnessed interactions.
Cons (-) The rooms carpet wasn’t completely clean when I got there, left over debri from whoever was there before. Beds were crazy firm. I know the buildings older but I could hear most anything from Hallway to other rooms. Take what you will from the opinion.
