Pros: Special thanks to Ivana at the front desk, such a warm and hospitable welcome and departure. She secretly upgraded us to a junior suite much to our delight, as it was our anniversary. Suite was very well appointed and had perfect views. Breakfast was lovely, so was dinner at the restaurant. Heated indoor pool had excellent views and was a great refuge when the weather got chilly. Special thanks also to the housekeeping team for being so very kind and offering to dry our swimwear since the heated towel racks were not yet switched on, and we had to get them packed for an early flight. Initially we were torn between choosing Execlsior and Bellevue. As soon as we set foot into the property, we knew we had made the right choice. Atmosphere was very intimate and personal, and the whole feel, luxurious.

Pros: The hotel views from our room were breath taking and accommodations were superb. Our room was a nice size. The decor was modern and chic. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very nice and check-in and check-out was so easy. The location to the main pile gate was a nice walk along the coast. The private beach attached to the hotel was beautiful and a must to see. The hotel restaurant Vapor was the best meal we had in Croatia. Such a wonderful experience in a beautiful, magical place!

Pros: Absolutely loved this hotel. Lovely modern decor with hip nautical touches. Spa facilities clean and comfortable. Very welcoming front reception staff. Good restaurant food. The small beach was delightful even in early November. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. The location is much better than hotels closer to the old town.

Pros: We liked absolutely everything! Wonderful location, beautiful clean sea to swim in straight from the hotel, amazing city of Dubrovnik in easy walking distance- close enough to get to but not right in centre so very peaceful location. The room and the entire hotel exceeded expectations, staff excellent even though right at the end of their season. We were lucky enough to have wall to wall sunshine at the end of October. We are sad to leave and will definitely return!

The location is wonderful and even the mountain views are amazing. The facilities are excellent, all the services are impeccable, the staff is super professional and attentive, the breakfast is generous, various, beautifully served. Delivery of the food with the room service was fast, menu was extensive and the food was delicious. I stayed with a small child and I was given all the possible support. Exquisite experience.

Pros: The hotel is absolutely perfect! We had a room with a beautiful sea view and it was stunning. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and really comfortable. We had breakfast each day in the main restaurant and sat with a beautiful sea view. There was a good selection of food to choose from for breakfast. Another excellent feature is how close the hotel is to old town The walk is about 10 minutes and its relatively flat so it is very pleasant. We are already sad to have left and are definitely coming back. We didn't spend a lot of time in the pool but it is a lovely area. There are two pools an indoor and outdoor and you can swim in the sea also. Will definitely be better prepared for swimming next time.

Pros: We really enjoyed our experience here. We loved the pool area located right on the sea with a beautiful view of old town. It was nice to be able to take a dip in the pool or jump in the sea as the weather heats up. The rooms were well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is less than a ten minute walk to old town. Breakfast was great, it even include mimosas!

Pros: We booked this as our last "treat yo self" night for our honeymoon, right before we had to fly back to the States. As soon as we arrived, we quickly saw with regret that one evening there was not enough. So we made sure to make the most of it! When we arrived, our room had lovely special touches since we indicated it was our honeymoon. The view from our room was absolutely incredible. When we inquired casually about spa services, the staff scrambled to call in an additional masseuse so we could get our massages together. Even after we assured them it was no big deal, they wanted to be sure we got what we inquired about! Our favorite part was definitely the pool deck. We loved jumping into the sea with the view of the city walls in the distance. The walk to the old city for dinner was easy, even when we returned pretty late that night. Altogether, amazing stay. We'll be back!

Cons: The only minor thing was the availablity of service in the lobby bar. We had a bit of a wait a few times and on our last day we sat on the terrace and there was nobody to take a drink order. We were there just over an hr during the happy hour so it would've been nice to get a last drink before leaving.

Wonderful view of the old city and Med from the restaurant. We were there in October in hot sunny weather and it was amazing. Suspect the pool etc would be very busy in summer.

Cons: Only thing I would say was bad is the food at the hotel restaurant. Went up to try it one evening and found out it was buffet style, which is fine but unfortunately all the food I tasted was awful except the fries. The fish tasted old, the tortellini chewy, and the pork was bland, Felt like such a waste of a meal especially since all my other meals were amazing! This place certainly got the prize of the worst meal in Dubrovnik. Maybe the breakfast is better but the dinner was surely a disappointment.

Cons: The hotel is a bit far from the central part of Dubrovnik (about 20 or so minutes walking), but only an inexpensive taxi or bus ride away. Bed was a bit firm for my liking, one of the lights in the room was not functioning properly, and the breakfast was hit or miss. Overall, however, this was a fantastic stay.

Breakfast is in another B&B only a few minutes walk away and staff were friendly. I was able to check in earlier on the day and although I did not see any staff in the B&B they responded quickly to my texts. Best part was the location, it is GREAT. Right in the centre of Old Town. There are steps to walk up, but that would be the same for a lot of accommodation in Dubrovnik.

Cons: There were 72 stair steps to reach the place; the shower faucet was dripping water on the bathroom rug when we got there; a nasty noise in the room generated by the refrigerator.

Pros: I had the top floor room with a balcony. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was good with a shower. Basic but good. Breakfast is in another B&B only a few minutes walk away and staff were friendly. I was able to check in earlier on the day and although I did not see any staff in the B&B they responded quickly to my texts. Best part was the location, it is GREAT. Right in the centre of Old Town. There are steps to walk up, but that would be the same for a lot of accommodation in Dubrovnik.
Cons: Fridge in the room did not work, but was not needed for my trip.

Pros: The position of the apartment we stayed in was excellent inside the old town of Dubrovnik and right near Pile Gate (for local bus to the bus station). On our arrival, the manager collected us from the central bus station, which was very kind.
Cons: The floor of apartment needed a good clean, a fryinpg pan for the kitchen would be useful, and the is no internetaccess inside the apartment or outside the windows - the only potential access is the city's free WiFi network, that you might be able to pick up in a small outdoor area down the other end of town (We had a usb modem & bought a data sim card from Vip/Vodafone, which worked a little in the apartment). Still, we had a great stay here.

Pros: The hotel is just inside the town, it's a very old building in one of the narrow streets of the town. We had a room with balcony, it was clean and very comfortable. It was just like home in the old city! Thanks for everything.

Cons: I found the breakfast somewhat repetitive with very little choice available however there was enough to eat and the hostess was lovely.
