Overview

A railroad hub on the high plains in Dalhart, Texas, the Best Western Nursanickel Hotel sits within easy reach of three major highways. XIT Museum exhibits and the annual XIT Rodeo & Reunion celebrate the area's ranching roots, while Rita Blanca Lake Park draws families for cookouts and the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and golf fill the days, and the Dairy Day Festival and Bi-County Stock Show bring the community together as freight trains roll through town. The XIT Rodeo & Reunion, billed as one of the largest amateur rodeos around, fills the calendar each summer. Friendly service and quick highway access keep travel simple. Reception snacks through the day and a hearty hot breakfast make the hotel an easy base for hunting, ranching, and agriculture travelers.

Cons (-) Also, the front desk person was very slow. I spent more than 20 minutes waiting for the 3 people in front of me to get checked in.
