Cons: I think that for a 4 stars hotel they should worry more about taking care of the room appearance. My room had the wall paper damaged (coming out of the wall) and the wooden panel behind the bed with huge stain. On Sunday there was waiting line to access de breakfast room. And swimming pool is too small for the size of the hotel - too many people.

You'd be lucky to be served by Debora at the desk, Gabriel, Vagner and Rafael at the lounge and of course, Uiliam at the restaurant (sweetheart local). Luciana is very attentive as your maid. Cons: The rooms are on the small end of the spectrum, however, large enough. They are clean enough, however, room service could be better. Everything seems a little outdated, but all is in working condition. I did expect more of the pool and gym, which is the main reason for a lower ranking. The pool is tiny (more a tub) but the water is ice cold. The 2 treadmills did not work properly, the bike could not be adjusted and the other equipment looked like I would rather avoid them unless someone gives them an inspection and overhaul first... As it is not a great idea to run in the vicinity of the hotel this was an issue.

It had a broad appeal - if you liked a cooked breakfast, it was there; if you liked a fruit based one, that was there too, along with fruit juice and excellent breads and coffee. What more could you ask for? On top of that, the staff were friendly and welcoming, even though I don't speak Portuguese (for which I apologise)..

Cons: No staff on during breakfast and so all the tables were dirty, no clean plates or cutlery were left by 8.30am. Check-in process takes too long and there was no-one at the front desk when we arrived so we had to wait about 15 minutes even though we had just called to tell them we were arriving.
