The location was amazing, the rooms are clean
the size of the room is too small even for one person.
Location. Hospitality. Ambiance
Very dark in early in am. Dark pm. Had to use flashlight for early morning departure. Suggest motion sensor lights.
This was our ideal... a well run hostal in an ideal position within the heart of all the main attractions - no frills but our suite was delightful. Super-spacious, it had a large sunny terrace with sunbeds plus a table and chairs...too hot to use on this occasion, but you could almost touch the Mezquita. There was a comfortable bed, nice linens and towels and efficient aircon... a must as the temperatures were nudging 40C. A huge bonus was being able to buy cold water from a fridge in reception, at very reasonable rates. Truly, there was nothing we didn’t like about this place. A bargain for those who aren’t bothered by expensive extras and facilities.
Everything was excellent. Thank you.
Their were two key points with this hotel. Location - it literally couldn't be closer to the Mequitza and the Roman bridge is about 2 minutes away. Most of the other attractions in the city were only 15 minutes away or less.
There wasn't too many downsides to this hotel honestly. The facilities were basic but included the essentials. The staff were helpful with our issues if not a little less knowledgeable than I would have liked in an ideal world but they were more than happy to help with any request
We were advised by the hotel to park our car over the river in a free parking zone. When we parked the car a man came over and asked for money. We said no and we walked away. When we returned to the car there was a scratch on the door and the drivers door lock had been forced with something like a screw driver but it hadn’t been broken into. The damage is covered by insurance but it has put a very unhappy stain on our holiday. I think the hotel should be aware of the risk and advise customers not to park and to move their car if approached in a similar way. Clearly the chap is a criminal obtaining money by menaces/criminal damage. In future I’ll pay the 15 euros and park in a proper car park.
