Owners and location
Hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of some nice restaurants. There are also some markets and bakeries close by. The hotel is very quaint and homey. The hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we got there. The hotel has a cheery breakfast room as well as a small sitting room with frig and coffee maker that guests can use. Breakfasts were generous: coffee, juice, pastries, bread, cheese, organic eggs and home-made yogurt. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. This was our favorite hotel during our trip to France. We were very comfortable there and would stay there again if we ever go back.
This hotel was within easy reach of the ferry terminal, about half a mile away, so my mum and I could walk there and back with our suitcases. The staff were very welcoming and encouraged us to speak French which was lovely! Also they were able to practice their English with us! The paintings which decorated the rooms were fab and our female host said her dad was the artist, compliments to him! The continental breakfast of croissants, bread, fruit and coffee was tasty and set us up well for the day. On our last day, we were able to leave our suitcases at the hotel, which meant we were able to explore more easily before our evening ferry departure!
It would have been more convenient to be a little closer to town but there were plenty of restaurants and main shops about a half mile away.
Super friendly and lively staff. Highly recommended...A massive thank you x
