When I called in to get a Chevy Tahoe or similar vehicle to rent the agent told me that the price will be around $380 and there’s only one left to rent and it was at Indiana Ave in the city of Riverside,CA. When I arrived at the location there was no Tahoe available even tho I had made the reservation online and over the phone. There was a Ford Expedition there which was similar to the Tahoe but the agent who was there charged me $650 which was way higher than I expected but I was put into a tough spot so I rented the Expedition. I felt like it was a Bait and switch which is very troubling to me.4,0 Mediocre

The vehicle was not ready at the time of reservation I received a phone call at 1:37 Enterprise did not properly clean the vehicle with standards of health and safety regulations for COVID-19. The exterior was not washed the bed of the truck had sappy goo on the left hand side that I had to hose down and use a degreaser to remove the sapp/sticky substance, windows were not clean, finger and hand prints were still visible on the exterior and interior of the door handles and windows and the frame of the doors from the previous renter. The truck was below a qtr. of a tank, they did not refill the window washing fluid, so when driving we were not able to use this feature of the truck when the weather conditions required better visibility. I found 1.5inch of clear liquid substance in the bottom console of the truck, which I discovered after leaving the rental spot and properly sanitizing the door handles and scrubbing the seats to remove stains from the seats. The vehicle was not vacuumed at all or wiped down. The written sign notification of cleaning standards was not completed or performed, violating all health and safety standards required by all rental businesses. In addition the manager did not disclose he was charging me the full amount plus the deposit $200 deposit totally $472 I had to call and ask on 3 occasions for a copy of my rental agreement by email. I ended up driving back to the location to get a paper copy of my agreement before leaving for my trip. In addition, The agreement provided did not indicate the deposit amount in parentheses. The rental time was also incorrect on the agreement. I was notified at 1:37pm by phone that the vehicle I requested had arrived. I did not pick up the vehicle till after 2:00pm10,0 Wonderful

After calling to make arrangements to change my drop off location and being told there would be no fees, no extra charges, I proceed with my day and feel relieved. I get there, the paperwork is processed, I hand her the keys and she gives me a receipt. As I walk out the door, I read the receipt. My one day rental, originally prices at $83 is now over $500. What!?! I return to the counter and ask what the heck is going on. Because of the change in drop off location, my daily rate was bumped to $120, there was a $300 fee and a bunch of other miscellaneous charges. I tell her this is not acceptable. I called and you told me, there would be no fees. If this is what it was going to cost, I wanted the car back and figure out another strategy. Stone-cold sober, the girl says "you can't, the car has been returned." I'm disgusted and will be calling corporate to try and gain some reprieve. How is it okay to lie to my face, question them, and then have the door proverbially slammed in your face.10,0 Wonderful

I reserved a premium car (Impala) however when I got to the office they did not have the car I reserved. I had even had a confirmation of the rental but the had no other cars except a Jeep which could not even hold over 2 small suitcases in the back. Both agents claimed to be the supervisor and when a 3rd employee showed up she said everybody in the office was a supervisor. Receiving a confirmation made no difference to them. All 3 employees were rude and obnoxious and had attitudes. Not even a sorry from them. Cost me and family and extra hour and a half to locate another car rental and Enterprise took wonderful care of us in 10 minutes we were on our way. Never again will Avis ever get our family's business.5,6 Fair

The office closes at noon and nothing in my emails from Avis told me so. I only discovered it while driving there. Called to tell them I would be ~5 minutes late and they would not wait. I got there and the place was locked up but they were still inside, and refused to help me.10,0 Wonderful

The office is greatly understaffed and unorganized. I was there at my scheduled time (12:00pm) to pick up my rental and I didn’t leave the office until approximately 1:20. The employee had too many things going on and had to personally take the car to get washed. When I returned the car, there were several customers waiting to be helped by one employee. The employee asked who was returning a car, and myself and man raised our hands. She then told us to leave the keys and she would email our receipts (which I have yet to receive), and that we could go.10,0 Wonderful

Took around 10 min to get acknowledged both picking up and dropping off. Employees were on the phone and passing by, but no eye contact was given. It was my first time renting a car and i didn't know the protocol. First I was told my cash couldn't be accepted, then when I produced a card, I was told to go get my elderly, disabled mother from the car and have her come in. Felt like I was unwanted there and made to feel not welcome.7,2 Good
