The manager here is particularly good, always provides me with a reliable car, ready to go when I arrive for pick-up. Fast & easy. And they extended my rental period last-minute without any hassle, just a quick phone call.Cons:

Summer rates are much more expensive. This office is not accepting Hertz rewards points I've earned for free weekend rental right now. And the rates from the Norwalk office are so much more expensive than from their Stamford office - I don't get why there's such a huge difference between 2 nearby offices, and cannot account for it by state taxes.8,0 Very Good

Pros:
The location that Kayak provided with pinpoint was inaccurate. I finally found the place after asking local police officer. The car was dirty and beat up. It was very expensive for the quality. Finally, they charged me $15 gas charge without explanation. When I asked the desk, they said they automatically do this unless I show a gas receipt. The tank showed full but didn't have a receipt. I feel Budget is deceiptfulCons:

When we went to Norwalk to return the car, they tried to charge us for a big scratch on the car that the previous driver had made. When we picked up the car in Boston we informed the Budget representative at the exit that the car had a big scratch and then she wrote that in our papers. When we arrived to return the car in Norwalk they wanted to charge us for the scratch because we didn't have a pink slip from Budget in Boston stating that we were not responsible for the damage, even though the representative in Boston wrote it in our papers. The only reason why they didn't try to charge us in Norwalk was that we just happened to have signed up for the damage waiver insurance. This is terrible service.10,0 Wonderful

Dealing with everyone at the Norwalk location was outstanding from initial contact to pickup and afterwards. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Was surprised to learn that spouse could drive vehicle at no extra cost as other rental companies. Also that toll charges had no additional fees attached. Will use Enterprise again.10,0 Wonderful
