Compact SUV

KAYAK
Enterprise did not, in fact, have any vehicle for us to rent at the location and were completely unhelpful in remedying the situation. At the desk, they instructed me — the customer — to go on Google to make a new reservation and made me call other locations to see if there were vehicles to rent. So disappointing.

Vehicles need to be ready before customers arrive. The customer service when returning cars could be better. I was passively accused of being responsible for a missing hub cap but the car was given to me in that condition. The vehicle also seemed to need maintenance by the sound it made when driving.

Pros:

Nothing! The staff in Landover told me adding a second driver was free if I was married, which I am. Then when I dropped off the car they charged me for it. I reminded them what they told me and they said it was an error on their part but would not credit me. They should know their own policies and should have made things right by not charging me for their error!!

Cons:

Staff should know Hertz policies and make their errors correct by not charging renters for their errors!! Staff told me to call customer service and they would not credit me either. I asked for a supervisor and she told me the supervisor would tell me the same thing. Very bad customer service. I read a review that said do not rent from this location but I gave it a try. I won’t make that mistake again!
