Pros:
My daughter and I worked with Andrew at the BATAVIA NY office. We had a planned trip to New Hampshire and the day before we were to leave for Christmas holiday there I blew the head gasket on my jeep. Andrew was fantastic and getting us taken care of and on the road so that we could have a wonderful holiday. I would go back to this facility before I would go anywhere else. The staff at the East Main Street location were on point. They were very accommodating, professional and friendly, I was picked up timely and returned the vehicle without incident. Despite the fact that the West Henrietta location sent me to their location instead of one nearby.Cons:
The cost of the vehicle was very expensive. In addition, I was charged a $300.00 deposit. The vehicle was difficult to drive due to its configuration. I was denied when I asked for an upgrade.10,0 Wonderful

The car was a very nice car, clean and new, drove well. Dropoff at the Pittsburgh airport was very easy.Cons:
The pickup location at Jefferson in Rochester was hard to find, and I couldn't figure out how to get through the phone system to talk to the person at the office to get more detailed directions. Representative could have been more informative about terms and where the car actually was.8,4 Very Good

Cons:
Avis did not have the car class that was confirmed in the reservation available -- in fact, they had no cars, only SUVs and a van. We had confirmed the reservation for a premium and without an upcharge only an SUV was available which was unsuitable for the event we were attending. We had no other choice but to upgrade to a van for an extra $100 or leave without a large enough vehicle. We should have walked away instead of agreeing to the extra expense. Avis will not consider any sort of refund for the extra charge which is very disappointing. Obvious bait and switch tactic and very unprofessional. In the future there are many other rental agencies to consider other than Avis.4,0 Mediocre

Saved $200 by getting car at this location instead of the Rochester airport.Cons:
$20 charge plus tolls for use of EasyPass seemed a little excessive. Also, seats of vehicle were stained.10,0 Wonderful
