Pros:

My son lives in Ridgecrest, two hours away. Traveling by yourself is stressful enough, so I like the convenience that Enterprise is right in the terminal. As a women driving by myself, it gives me such peace of mind that I will arrive safely. The cars have always been clean, new and ran perfectly. I will continue to use them and Kayak for my travel needs.

Bakersfield is very small. An independent agent handles Avis and Budget. There was no one at the rental counter when we arrived. We had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to get there. Once they got there the process was easy.

Friendly staff at the Bakersfield location. HOWEVER, the staff at the SLO airport was not friendly. He was passive aggressive when I forgot to bring in the mileage. He said, "Well, I told you in my voicemail message to bring it in so I didn't have to walk out to get it," which was rude. Customers are people with busy lives, too. Mistakes happen. And it's not such an inconvenience to walk out to the parking lot!

The woman at the counter told us she not rent us the car because your system was down. We had to use another company and were panicked, and had to pay a lot more money. We’re not happy at all

We didn’t like being told there was not a 7 person vehicle on hand that fit our order. We did like that they set aside a ford explorer that did meet our criteria

The car had visibly been in an accident with the front bumper loose/falling off. I was charged an additional $27 beyond my original amount with no explanation.

Pros:

Easy pick up and drop off

Cons:

The cars speakers were messed up, the light for the clock and stereo system didn’t work, there was no back up camera. Most of all the steel light bugged me as I couldn’t see anything on there and then on the last day the light appears! So dumb

When we went inside the car there was crumbs on the seat, a tv remote in the car door and a hotel key card. Clear signs car was not cleaned or checked before.
