Pros:

The employees were nice and wanted to accommodate my needs.

Cons:

My vehicle was not ready when I arrived, they were sanitizing it. Then they didn't have the class of car that I had made my reservation for and it wasn't available at any other location in town. They even called and confirmed it the day before.

We were promised a rental that would seat 7 and when we arrived to pick our rental up they didn’t have anything for us!

Pros:

Nothing. The staff at Enterprise in Springfield was extremely unhelpful. I was never even able to rent a car, and had to refund the insurance I paid for.

Cons:

When I showed up to Enterprise, they told me they had no cars available (despite my reservation). They left me stranded for 2 days as I awaited a car. I’ve never been so upset, angry, disappointed with a company. Ever. I’m a traveler from abroad so I was left abandoned because of their lack of prep.

The car was very very dirty when I picked it up. I was late so had to take it right away but later spent 30 minutes cleaning hair, food, and other trash, and of course disinfecting it.

I walked two miles to pick up the car but the company would not let me rent because I did not have a credit card (just a debit card). There was no offer of help for a lift back to where I came from, and I was just viewed as a nuisance they had to deal with.

Be aware when you book at Springfield expecting a Hertz location to be onsite at the airport - it will not be at the airport. You will have to pay for an Uber to take you across town to their other facility. This was not made clear at booking. A huge hassle.

The transaction was very smooth and the car was excellent. The only thing that could have been better is that the car was low on wiper fluid when i picked it up. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but the roads were wet so I had to buy washer fluid and fill the reservoir.

The car I was given had 2 bad tires in it. One had a large chunk out of the sidewall and the other had cords and belts showing all the way around. When I called and told them about the problem I was just told to go to the nearest location and exchange it. No further help and I was 3 states away trying to find another location. We got it exchanged for a car that hadn’t been cleaned from previous rental and the check engine light came on shortly after receiving it. Overall not an ideal experience for the money I paid.

Customer personnel were great. The interior windows were dirty and hard to see out of when we arrived in the fog. The vehicle had a few more dents and dings than on the original sheet.

Budgey happily took my online reservation and money the week I had to take my wife and two 5-month olds to a funeral. Promised car seats. The day of travel, they sent an email saying they had no cars available! No apologies, no attempts to help us find another car or carseats for the babies, no recourse. Then I called Kayak and made reservations with Budget. I called Budget to confirm. Still, no cars, no car seats, no luck, no recourse. US DOT should look into this reprehensible industry practice and reform it like it's doing with the airline industry. AVOID BUDGET LIKE THE PLAGUE.
