Pros: Staff was friendly.Cons: I reserved an economy car and the only options available to me were an SUV and a pick up truck. I took the SUV and immediately regretted it - it smelled like smoke, but at this point my only options were to return it and try to cram my family into a pick up truck or wait around until something else became available. Also, most rental car places now have options for paying for tolls when you are traveling across state lines. Not so at this Enterprise.

Pros: The ability to buy gas in advance (not just a full tank - or nothing) but approximately what I would use on the trip ( in this case just a half tank) - and at a very close to market price - made the drop off experience really quick and easy!

Amherst, MA location and corporate phone customer supportPros: the employee at the New Haven Tweed Airport (a woman whose name I didn't catch) was the only competent and pleasant person I worked with. she was great.Cons: From the amherst, ma pickup where garrett asked me to wait for 30 minutes while the delivered the car late, to the long wait and confusion with no staff at the UMASS location, to the online support on sunday who (INCORRECTLY and adamantly) told me my rental was actually due 3 hours before the reservation said it was due, I had a horrible experience. the only good thing was the helpful employee at the tweed new haven desk. also it was incredibly overpriced and i was given a nissan rogue qhen i requested a rav4. i get that it said i could get something similar, but i dont think many people would say those two cars are really comparable on safety, quality, and gas mileage. i will do everything in my power never to rent from you guys again.

Pros: The young man who helped me with the car was incredible...a great attitude and so positive..a real asset to your companyCons: The office was closed when i got there. But the person came in from the College ave office ten min later. I don’t understand why the prices for UMASS are cheaper than College, which is 10 min away. What’s the point if that office is rarely open? The only vehicle available was a van, not a car, and it hadn’t been washed. Other than that, the service was great bc of the guy who checked me in.

August 26Cons: I made my reservation for 6pm through a third-party site (kayak). And I was not notified that the shop closed at 6pm, or that it was urgent that I arrive on time because the staff leaves right away. So when I got there, at about 6:08pm, everyone was gone. And I called the customer service line but they said there was nothing they could do. So it was irritating that I had to pick it up the next morning and pay the full day price for just a couple hours of use. Also, when I came in the next morning, the staff member skipped over me to help the man that came in after me while I still waited to be helped. He knew that I came in first but greeted the other man and helped him while I had to sit and wait for the other staff member to finish up with his customer. It was very uncomfortable and strange.
