Cons: There wasn't one thing we didn't like!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was homemade and superb. There was attention to detail with everything. The manager (who was also the chef)was a delightful person and went the extra mile in being helpful in every way. We spent a very comfortable two days at beautiful Crosby House. Trail walks are accessible from the grounds.
Cons: We liked everything.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: From booking to extending my stay, Lynn was super-accommodating and warm. The Crosby House was immaculate with much attention to detail. The breakfast was not only from scratch but made fresh with delicious fresh fruit and a hot entrée, served in a beautiful intimate dining room. The other couple that were at breakfast were gluten-free and Lynn provided gluten-free, individualized breakfasts for them! I will go back for sure and recommend this bed and breakfast, it is worth paying the additional cost and you get much more in return than staying at the local hotel chains.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Ambience of the house, garden, location, ease of parking off road, bedroom comfort, availability of hot drinks & cookies 24/7!
Cons: Cold water in the shower - but that was a temporary glitch due to a boiler failure so can't hold that against them!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice place with great staff
Cons: Noisy air conditioning and some noisy traffic on the street
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lovely property and Maria is awesome!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Superb breakfasts from Maria, as good as anything I’ve had anywhere in the world
Cons: There was a certain amount of road noise to contend with.

Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the amenities and how comfortable I was. I slept like a baby! The staff was very accommodating as well!
Cons: I wished they fire pit was behind the hotel and not in the parking lot.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like when management and staff jump in and help when business is busy. Breakfast was packed and others were there without being asked to help. There was no waiting for food or implements.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Room I was first given stunk to high heaven of cigar. I put in info needing clean, down free room. Housekeeping said pillows were down free in king bed... not clearing labeled as down mix. They changed my room and made sure it was okay but... this is the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve booked through your service and wouldn’t do it again. Each time notes were apparently not read by hotel/motel staff. Learned a good lesson though. Only book directly through hotel.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean motel, modern look
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Breakfast offer unacceptable, low basic, nothing fresh or healthy Mould behind curtains in bedroom- disgusting
1,0 Poor
Pros: Not happy with hotel!
Cons: 1. The staff not very friendly. 2. Poor Customer Service! 3. Room was not cleaned until 2:30 pm or after that time. 4. Next day room not cleaned at all, the male clerk at the front desk advised we left our do not disturb sign up, which was not true!
5,0 Okay
Pros: Easy access from major routes. Not far from a good restaurant.
Cons: The hotel rooms are very dated. They feel old and a bit shabby.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Will be staying here in the future. Looking forward to future renovations when they come. Other HIE have had great updates.
Cons: Great location for me and my clients in the area
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess at breakfast was exceptional; she was both efficient and friendly. There were gluten free bagels and dairy free omelets on the buffet, as well as sausage, scrambled eggs, etc.
6,0 Good
Pros: Most of the staff, the location, the room.
Cons: When we checked in there were no towels in the room. 2 days out of 5 the room wasn't cleaned, bed wasn't made, no new towels, no soap, etc... It seems that if you had a Do Not Disturb card on your door early in the morning, the staff never checked back.

Cons: The bathrooms rather old fashioned and in one room, quite cold
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We made very late reservations to stay at the inn - a last minute idea to drive into Vermont - and we couldn't have been happier with our one night stay. Breakfast was delicious and chatting with the innkeeper Cindy made it especially lovely. The location was just perfect, sits on the bank of a river just outside the main streets of Brattleboro, and I am certain the garden in season must be amazing because it was pretty even in November! The room was immaculate, comfortable and the gas fireplace was perfect for taking the chill off a very cold evening. A basket of locally made snacks along with access to hot beverages completed the welcome. We would stay here again for certain.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Room was ok.
Cons: Management/ owner was difficult. No help up stairs with luggage. Unavailable except for breakfast, and got her feelings hurt when we did not stay for breakfast. I felt like I was staying with a crotchety aunt.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful service. We stayed in the Red Maple room, which is a little guest house unconnected to the main house. Very quiet and comfortable. Comfortable beds, good heating, Smart TV, great shower and tub.
Cons: Not a big deal but I was hoping the jacuzzi tub in the room would be a bit bigger.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked, very much the decor of the room and overall Inn. It also was very tranquill.
Cons: Our stay was too short.

Pros: Pretty much everything was an a really good level, especially for the area full of crappy local inns and hotels.

Pros: Wonderful old (but nicely renovated) hotel in the heart of Brattleboro's downtown with its many restaurants, cafes, bookstores and other shops. A live theater and four movie screen in the building! Friendly staff and cool guests.
6,0 Good
Pros: Great downtown location with easy parking, a great staff, and loads of character.
Cons: While I can appreciate the character of an older building, or a place with a story, this place seems like it really could use an update and a scrubbing. They should at least add heat and AC and have a 24 hour front desk. Fine for a night or two.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was very large and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the location perfect for on and off the highway. Great value for a king sized room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Overall I think the facility was amazing, close enough to drive to town but still enjoy some peace and quiet away from the night life. It was right off the highway so very easy to find and very easy to get on our way early in the morning. Highly highly recommend for the money you pay. Our room had 2 beds, a fridge, a microwave, and a nice sized bathroom and we only spent $58 dollars.
Cons: I thought the breakfast was a little mediocre just because there were not many options for my toddler and some things were not the best quality like the hard boiled eggs were rubbery and the donuts were kind of stale, however for a free breakfast, you can't expect the quality you would get from a 5 star restaurant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.
Cons: Nothing negative to say

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, and the pool although the open hours didn't allow us to enjoy it.
Cons: We arrived at about 9:00 pm and were disappointed that the pool closed at 8:45 pm. It opened the next morning at 8:00 but we had to leave about 8:15. The pool was the main reason we chose this motel, but we hardly had the chance to enjoy it.

I loved the waffle maker. Having a fridge, microwave was really nice. The location is awesome! Great to be able to walk to a full supermarket, drug store, dollar store, bagel place, & pizza. Very convenient. Staff was helpful & friendly. Thank you very much to let me have my cockatiel in a cage. I can't leave him home! Nice to have him with me anyway.

Pros: The crazy lady that ran the front desk.
Cons: The option that this was a place to stay. As apposed to a modern hotel. Nothing has been updated in 40 years.

Pros: Loved the hostess!!!!
Cons: It's a bit outdated.
7,1 Good
Pros: Convenient location, not walking distance to restaurants / bars which is a shame, but convenient off main road for exploring the area. Big comfortable bed
Cons: The heating hadn’t been put on before we arrived and the thermostat was set to 45!!!! It took over 2 hours to get the temp up to 65. We’d reserved and had an allocated room so I think that’s really bad. We’d wanted to chill out on the room but it was too cold to do anything.

5,8 Okay
Pros: Easy to get to.
Cons: Run down. Not dirty per say but the fact it was so run down it seemed that way. Chairs in the room were stained, bath was not pretty. The bedding was clean and to me was all I really needed. I spent as little time in the room as possible.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was good, breakfast was decent
Cons: Could have been cleaner--had to request our bedspread be replaced, had old bloodstain on it, couch had stains on it as well
3,0 Mediocre
Cons: I went into the room and it was quite dirty. The window was wide open and it smelled of smoke. In addition, there was "pee" in the toilet, paint peeling off of the door, and broken blinds. I didn't up staying at the motel.

2,0 Mediocre
Pros: The location was convenient.
Cons: The hotel room was extremely dirty and the carpeting in the room was wet in some areas. We decided to cancel our second night and find lodging elsewhere.

Pros: Good location but a great value for a motel. Most importantly very clean.

10,0 Excellent

7,0 Good
Pros: Room was clean decent size
Cons: Pictures that were depicted are somewhat old the place does need some TLC
