The Hotel had character, had excellent secure parking (extra cost) and a very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast
The advertised Wi-Fi did not work.
clean and nice staff
We were on motorbike trip and had earlier got off ferry,i had pe booked room so was just a matter of finding it,it was in good location and off the beaten track. The receptionist was very helpful and let me keep bike in there garage overnight at no extra charge. Will go back again if we go same area again in future.
Only slight problem that after meal we go for a walk but there was,nt anywhere we could go as main roads though not busy surround hotel and there are no footpaths, but again thats not really hotels fault.
Good location only a few minutes from the city centre, shops and restaurants. Staff were delightful, wide selection at buffet breakfast, safe parking and great value.
convenient for town centre, bedroom at rear of hotel so away from busy road, dining room very modern unlike rest of hotel
situation on main road which was being resufaced so rather messy
Friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are tastefully decorated. City centre and scenic walks are within walking distance.
No lift. With baby its a little difficult to get up and down the fairly narrow staircase. I always feel that a hotel that does not serve lunch or dinners should at least have a fridge in the room where a traveler can store some snacks.
Excellent breakfast and safe parking. Manageress did her best to help us
No Elevator and we were on the top floor. Shower was too small and not really useable. Previous stay was at a 5* hotel which was cheaper
Rooms were clean, is a good location convenient to old city centre by foot, & to train station & to major roads in/out of the town.
The rooms fairly small, & the garage is huge but the entrance lane very narrow!
We stayed one night at the hotel on our way through france. Hotel was fine. Our room was small but clean and bathroom and towels were spotless. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and good service from the staff. A basic hotel but fine for a few days stay. There is secure parking for a nominal price which we felt was good as the surrrounding area of the hotel did not appear to be the best and we had not stayed in this area before.. Short walk to the centre which had lots of places to eat. Would stay again if in that area.
Good position, vast garage, friendly staff
Uncomfortable bed
