This hotel is really run down. The lobby appears to be the only thing updated in the last 15 years. Room smelled moldy. Beds were horrendous and "queen" barely fit myself and my daughter. Walls were chipped and cracked and doors were rusty. Weird stuff dripping down walls. Bathroom gross. The sliding doors are permanently closed. Great location and access to Folly Beach and downtown Charleston. Great pool, comfy beds, gorgeous view. Only downfall was the tub didn’t drain in our room for the first couple mins of taking a shower, but that was a very minor issue. Would recommend and stay again.

Pros (+) The shuttle to downtown was amazing! The staff was great! Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Great location!
Cons (-) Better view of the water. Better dining options. Kitchen should stay open longer. You could get drinks but couldn’t eat after 9:30pm.

Pros (+) Love the location and view. Revamp your balconies to add romance, with maybe table and chairs or just chairs. Add safety screens and no chairs for rooms with children or just bolt their doors closed. Don't charge guest for extras like cofee in the room or toothpaste. Almost $200 a night and the only thing you don't charge for is an ounce of shampoo and tissues ? PLEASE!!!
Cons (-) Everything seemed available for a charge. Not much complimentary.
