Great location on the main high street, the cocktail bar was also a nice place to start the night.
The downside of being on the main high street is that it was very noisy until the early hours of the morning, but this is out of the hotel's control.
In a good location to be able to see most of Canterbury
The food in the restaurant for dinner was superb (although breakfast the next day was below average)
Asking for a quiet (premium priced) room and then being put right next to lift (which was far from quiet and kept us both awake for hours.. )
Location and comfy beds
First room was black mold in the corner of the room, was not cleaned properly (which the receptionist said they were having trouble with housekeeping) and heating was not working so it was freezing. Second room was very noisy (heating/air con unit) and dead flies on windowsill but lovely otherwise. Breakfast also disappointing as us and others had missing items long waits for food and missing items
The breakfast was fantastic, and the location was perfect! The hotel was very convenient for us and we enjoyed our stay.
It was very noisy one evening (due to a club next door to the hotel) and the staff were not very helpful/sympathetic when notified of this.
