Pros (+) The staff is so friendly . Bartenders really made you feel at home and always keeping your drinks filled . Cleaning staff worked hard at keeping my room clean and always fresh towels . Food staff cleaned your tables off promptly and got you refills . Breakfast was my favorite meal as I am vegetarian. Plenty of fruits and salads thru out the day . Pros (+) The hotel is more of a locals hotel. Not much English spoken amongst staff or patrons which gave more of an authentic feel. The restaurant is on the beach over the water. Everything is close with no need to walk far for anything. Good air conditioning in the room with large rooms.
Cons (-) Nothing within walking distance outside hotel. Beds are hard and the rooms are old and outdated. The pool is heavily chlorinated to the point you don't want to go under water at all. Food was just ok. Not great but worked.

Pros (+) beach and downtown proximity was great! The room was comfortable and price was right. Thank you for the great service too.
Cons (-) I would have really enjoyed having a coffee machine (even a cheap one would be enough) and a microwave. I had to go to the convenience store to make popcorn and heat my leftovers! Also, please please please put WIFI in the rooms and not just the lobby! Thank you.

Pros (+) 1. Good for tight budget 2. Close to down-town and to main tourist hotels zone 3. Good transportation 4. Variety of activities and local tours 5. Little swimming pool
Cons (-) 1. Small and mostly shaded beach front. 2. Beach is sufficient to bath, but not for swimming and snorkelling 3. Restaurant on the water in front of beach. Obscures the view. Staff running through the beach area back and forth all the day. 4. Buffet type restaurant seems to have very limited choice 5. The weather was not good.
