Pros: Have stayed here before and always good. Lovely chateau style hotel. Given choice of room and pleased with one we had on ground floor, lots of natural rock and stone but very prettily decorated. Even a lit,e lawn with table and chairs outside. Rooms upstairs are more traditional and again well decorated. Plenty of room, lovely big walk in shower and very comfortable bed. Lovely location in the countryside and good for walking dog but very close to Cancale. Breakfast and coffee very good. Staff minimal but always friendly and helpful. Quiet and very relaxing place to stay.
Cons: Toilet in room was separate which was good but up several stone steps and door didn’t shut that easily. Restaurant was not open, which was a shame as we remembered it as being good. Bar was open though.

Pros: It’s a very quiet, a real manure with an old warm countryside feel. The stuff there are very kind and helpful. The room is large and comfortable with a large bathroom. I’ve been there for the Mont Saint-Michel marathon, and couldn’t find a better place for my last preparations and rest after the race

Pros: The service is outstanding. I wanted to give special kudos to Sylvain who went an extra mile helping us arrange a car rental. Other staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just outside Cancale in a nice and quiet country location. It's a period building and is well cared for inside and outside. There's a small pool and a jacuzzy. Breakfast is great. You get fresh baguettes and a selection of cheeses and meats as well as fresh croissants and pastries. They offer a small stove where you can fry eggs yourself.

Pros: Fantastic location and beautiful view over the water. Great to be able to walk all over Dinard and down to the ferry. The hotel has been beautifully renovated.
Cons: Overall staff were not proactive. Breakfast was uninspiring and chaotic at best - pre-prepared scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, crepes and waffles sat in containers that were supposed to keep the food hot but they were only ever luke warm. Limited selection of fresh fruit that was always hard and uninviting. Order an omelette or fried eggs directly from the chef as soon as you arrive as it can take a while to get served. No informal dining in the evening other than room service. Parking at the hotel is expensive so park offsite instead.

Cons: In the spa- access to the swimming pool. The gate was too complicated. Children with large inflatables made pool less enjoyable. The pool was a main factor in our choice of this hotel. Better monitoring of pool loungers. Some were left with towels on them but not used- so there were not enough and guests had to use the wet poolside. Again spa- better organisation of hanging robes for steam and sauna rooms. Room key was in gown pocket and so vulnerable to being lost.

This beautiful house, a former farm converted into a hotel, beyond the noise of downtown, is an ideal choice for visiting the Emerald Coast, Saint Malo and Mont St Michel. The rooms are comfortable, simple and soundproofed and are fully equipped with bathrooms with shower or bath and free Wi-Fi internet access. From the breakfast room you are able to appreciate the park and the view of the Manoir des Douets Fleuris. Nearby you can enjoy the fine sandy beaches or the Gr34 foot path along the coast.

Beautiful room, pleasant and professional staff, common area where you could spend time (prepare coffee or tea), place to sit outside, big garden, but also amazing breakfast. Place is located close to amazing place called St. Malo and others. At the reception they recommended nice restaurants, but generally they were very flexible and nice, I wish some of the 5 star resorts/hotels would be providing such quality and nice service as here. We will come again.

Pros: Great location just a few steps from the beach and close to lots of restaurants. I particularly liked the cruise-liner style bathroom and all the lovely Clarins products provided. Extremely helpful and friendly receptionist (Emanuel) gave us a very warm welcome on arrival.
Cons: Our room felt very dark, probably because the walls were painted dark brown. In general the hotel feels a little old fashioned.

Pros: Breakfast excellent with plenty of choice; particularly liked the smoked salmon! The location near the beach couldn't have been better.
Cons: There were two downsides. one was the wind which rattled the window shutters and the flag poles at the front of the hotel and gave us two or three sleepless nights. The other was the cinema opposite the front of the hotel which was packed every day with hundreds of school children/ students who were very noisy. This may have been because of the approaching English Language Film Festival? It occurred more than once each day.

Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel -- rooms ample in size -- beds very comfortable -- Clarins toiletry products! Hotel staff were lovely, helpful, courteous. We didn't partake of the breakfast, but the dining room/bar looked very fabulous (next time!). You couldn't ask for a better location -- literal steps away from the Plage de l'Ecluse. Weekend night revelers could be heard from outside, but the quiet was much improved when we closed the window, so not a problem. Dinard is a charming jewel on the aptly named Emerald Coast. We had a lovely stay.
Cons: Really, no complaints. Even the beds were comfortable, which is never a guarantee in any hotel. We slept very well. I suppose the option of an evening turn down service (mints on the pillow sort of thing) would be a wonderful extra, but that's just a small suggestion.

Pros: The ambience of the hotel and the facilities were really very good and we loved all the outside terraces and the art was very interesting. The staff were friendly and helpful and knew their jobs. The Thalassa was very good and relaxing.

Pros: We have stayed several times at Hotel Night et Jour and have always found it pleasing in all aspects. We shall also stay there again ......no question. It’s a lovely place to stay and it’s only 5 minutes by car to centre of Cancale which has some lovely restaurants.

Pros: This was a great place to travel with kids. The pool is covered and can be used even in bad or cold weather. The place have a little "patio" with the rooms. The family room have kids twin beds in the mezzanine. The hotel is within waking distance from the downtown and port of Cancale

Pros: Great location and very comfortable bed. Becky gave us a warm welcome at reception and was good company serving our drinks. Breakfast fine. Everything was very clean. Very good value stay and big car park.
Cons: No evening meal cooked in the Hotel. We went out. Shower in room 201 very cramped because of the sloping ceiling.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable room.
Cons: I made the mistake of thinking 'restaurant' meant 'food available'. However, only breakfast was available during my stay (there is a hot drink station in the foyer). Eat before you arrive - bringing food into your room is forbidden.

Pros: The location is convenient to the surrounding areas we were visiting. The staff were friendly and helpful. A cute place for the budget we had. The bar lounge/outside deck area is nice when watching the sky change colors over the water in the mornings.
Cons: We left out the Do Not Disturb sign on our door when we would leave during the day, however, the room was still entered and cleaned. We never brought it up to the staff though, but everything else was fine.

Pros: Reception staff were excellent. English was perfect. Laura made us feel especially welcome and is an asset to the hotel. Nice location for both Dinard and St. Malo with a good view of the Rance.
Cons: There is no restaurant. There is no chef so there are some "meals" in a jar that you can heat in the microwave. No food allowed in the rooms, only real option is to eat out which involves driving.

Pros: Lovely little property! Nice design, very comfortable and easy to find. Only a 15min walk from the waterfront and a very comfy bed when you made it back there. Desk staff were very lovely and helpful despite my french being limited. Gorgeous little coastal town also.

Pros: Have stayed here before and always good. Lovely chateau style hotel. Given choice of room and pleased with one we had on ground floor, lots of natural rock and stone but very prettily decorated. Even a lit,e lawn with table and chairs outside. Rooms upstairs are more traditional and again well decorated. Plenty of room, lovely big walk in shower and very comfortable bed. Lovely location in the countryside and good for walking dog but very close to Cancale. Breakfast and coffee very good. Staff minimal but always friendly and helpful. Quiet and very relaxing place to stay.
Cons: Toilet in room was separate which was good but up several stone steps and door didn’t shut that easily. Restaurant was not open, which was a shame as we remembered it as being good. Bar was open though.

Pros: It’s a very quiet, a real manure with an old warm countryside feel. The stuff there are very kind and helpful. The room is large and comfortable with a large bathroom. I’ve been there for the Mont Saint-Michel marathon, and couldn’t find a better place for my last preparations and rest after the race

Pros: The service is outstanding. I wanted to give special kudos to Sylvain who went an extra mile helping us arrange a car rental. Other staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just outside Cancale in a nice and quiet country location. It's a period building and is well cared for inside and outside. There's a small pool and a jacuzzy. Breakfast is great. You get fresh baguettes and a selection of cheeses and meats as well as fresh croissants and pastries. They offer a small stove where you can fry eggs yourself.
Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: - the place is cozy and warm, and has a beautiful hall with a fireplace available for guests at all times - our room was great, with a beautiful see view and Mont Saint Michel from behind the fog - is very convenient to the port of Cancale - there is the chance of eating in the hall by the fireplace and it was a great evening for us! - the owners are very kind and extremely oriented to the client: we really felt at home! - the owners have been very flexible and accommodate our early depart time: we truly appreciated that!

This beautiful house, a former farm converted into a hotel, beyond the noise of downtown, is an ideal choice for visiting the Emerald Coast, Saint Malo and Mont St Michel. The rooms are comfortable, simple and soundproofed and are fully equipped with bathrooms with shower or bath and free Wi-Fi internet access. From the breakfast room you are able to appreciate the park and the view of the Manoir des Douets Fleuris. Nearby you can enjoy the fine sandy beaches or the Gr34 foot path along the coast.

Pros: The entire place was designed for relaxation. Beautiful room, pleasant and professional staff, common area where you could spend time (prepare coffee or tea), place to sit outside, big garden, but also amazing breakfast. Place is located close to amazing place called St. Malo and others. At the reception they recommended nice restaurants, but generally they were very flexible and nice, I wish some of the 5 star resorts/hotels would be providing such quality and nice service as here. We will come again.

Pros: Le Chatellier is an excellent family friendly place to stay, the grandchildren particularly enjoyed the swimming pool. It is a convenient place to stay for catching the ferry boats. The breakfast was superb too.
