Compact

It was good once we were able to get in co tact with the company to get our car. We called three times and finally had an airport employee call the manager. After that, the rental process was great.

Vehicle was great. It seems like there is not good communication between the local Hertz office and Kayak when it comes to charges and insurance offerings. I also have an injury and was forced to walk a good distance to pickup the car and drop it off. It seems like with three guys standing around one of them could bring the car up to the temporary parking area or have it ready.

Pros:

The car was clean & ready - but one tire was seriously low on air. The Hertz employee went above and beyond and had it repaired in short order by a local tire shop. Drop off was a breeze.

Cons:

An excellent experience with great caring staff. What more could I ask for? All rental car agencies charge a significant premium for full size SUV's - so it was quite pricey.
