Pros: Breakfast was great. Owners were lovely. Enjoyed spending time with them.
Cons: The room was a little close and overly decorated. Could have left off a few decorations. They made the room feel smaller. Strictly personal taste.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Glenn and Jane, the innkeepers, are so hospitable. They have planned for their guests to feel at home and quite pampered in the beautiful setting that adjoins a golf course. The rooms are themed from Wind in the Willows, and are elegant. After settling into our room, we had a cocktail time with our hosts and other guests. Information on local restaurants was helpful, and Glen made our reservation for us. Breakfast was delicious.

Pros: Our genial and attentive hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best experience we could have on our trip. The building was a quirky and fun place to stay with beautiful surroundings and scenery. Pros: Great Place to stay!
6,0 Good
Pros: Pretty decent breakfast with a variety of fresh fruit included. The room was very clean! Very good restaurant on the premises with lots of local food.
Cons: everything about the hotel seemed a little off: lots and lots of decor in "copper mine" style which looked nice on photos but in reality it was kinda mismatched and too dark for this place. The room was too dark and had lots of odd angles and corners and yet there was no handy place to hang a towel (for example); if you opened the entrance door you'd hit the bathroom door etc etc. Everything looked relatively new but it was cheaply made and it already started to show (like bathroom fixtures, taps and so on). Breakfast room was huge but there was no system to it; if you're getting your breakfast in a hurry it's a bit annoying.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Service was outstanding

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old hotel in a town full of beautiful old buildings. You feel like you're in a different era. Spring for the extra $12 to stay in the hotel as opposed to the adjacent motor inn.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location and character of the building
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The lobby is incredible. It takes you way back to the glory days of Butte and the 1920’s and is in excellent shape. The hotel retains its character. The bed was very comfortable. Great food within walking distance. The bar was very nice.

Pros: Loved the ambience of the old hotel and the history it came with... stunning old property
Cons: No breakfast facility and not many options on the street
9,7 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was historical and in walking distance to restaurants and bars and historical downtown. Rooms were simple but very clean.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in the hotel, so my review is specific to that and not the Motor Inn. From the very start to the very finish this was a wonderful hotel experience. The look of this historic hotel is dated to the era and boasts a grand entrance that is absolutely spectacular. The staff were all very warm and helpful. The beds were comfortable and everything was so clean! I highly recommend booking a room at the Hotel Finlen. I'm very much looking forward to my next visit!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious room
Cons: Noisy guests
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Classic Hotel and worth a stay in Butte. Don’t under estimate this place. Great for a visit. Great local bars and diners and the Hotel is excellent value.
5,0 Okay
Pros: It was very clean.
Cons: No microwave or refrigerator.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Very sparse accommodations, not very welcoming.
5,0 Okay
Pros: It was a “nice” place, but...
Cons: Seriously...I know it is an old and historic place, but a little more modernization would have been nice. There are VERY few outlets, and you REALLY have to search for the light switch in the bathroom. The queen size bed (at least in my room) needed to be replaced and it needed to be more firmly attached to SOMETHING so it didn’t sound like the room was “rockin” far more than it was. That said, the price was right and the staff was friendly.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great and staff is friendly and efficient. Hotel is very clean and it has a great history.
Cons: When there were guests in the neighboring room, I could hear them much better than I (or they) would prefer.

Pros: The room was older but in a charming well tended way. We had lots of space and it's right across the street from grocery store and coffee stand. Nice upgrades like laminant flooring, vey nice couch/pullout bed. Room room room.
Cons: Really could have used a bathroom fan and atleast one door between adjoining rooms so you could get up and turn on a light with out disturbing the other people trying to sleep. There was a place for the doors, just no doors.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Park outside your door. Picnic tables right outside we’re a nice touch. Small but comfy room.
Cons: Area seemed a little sketchy but was fine. Office hours were brief but you could call to get help.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Requested a room with refrigerator and got one with a mini separate kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Market was Across the street. I-90 easily accessible.
Cons: Room was in need of repair i.e. baseboards. Floor gave the appearance of not being clean. No addition of addition door locks or safety chain besides entry door knob. Loud motorcycle noise at night.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The location was easily accessible and easy to find. The room was updated and cute.
Cons: The traffic noise was a bit loud but nothing the owners can do about that.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, clean
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel really wad the gem of our road trip! I loved how comfortable the room was and how welcoming the staff was. Hotels like these are hard to come by. I would totally stay again.
Cons: Everything was great!
6,3 Good
Pros: Road trip to GNP from SLC- worked well for getting a good night sleep before heading out next morning to complete our journey to Glacier!
Cons: Very dated and could use some updating & refreshing.
7,1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Our dog was welcomed for only $5 and they didn't make us sign a whole raft of rules to keep him with us. Parking was near room. I might stay here again just because the pet policies are so much better than other places.
Cons: Parking was confusing, with customers parking every which way. Beds were passable but not cushy. Towels almost as rough as sand paper. Vents were full of thick dust and paint jobs on walls and doors were messy. Bottom of entry door was badly rusted.
7,1 Good
Pros: Place is a pretty good value. You do get what you pay for. It's an older place. Clean and reasonably comfortable.
Cons: The shower. The shower head hardly puts out any water. If they want to save water they should put in low flow toilets. I have a water saver showered and it works 100% better than the one their shower. Screens. I would not run the AC if they put screens on the windows so I could open them.
6,7 Good
Pros: Easy access to and from the freeway.
Cons: Broken concrete along the sidewalks creates a trip and fall hazard.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice and accommodating. Sam allowed us to check in late when we called ahead about delays in our trip and Misty was an absolute sweetheart at check out the next morning. Thanks for the comfy spot to stretch out and good luck with your remodeling!
Cons: They're in the middle of renovation so any complaints would be silly. Staff was great.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: great location
7,0 Good
Pros: location and room was decent
1,0 Poor
Pros: Staff very nice.
Cons: Room had 2 holes in wall, webs in upper corners of room and shower, stains on carpet, crumbs in a line all the way around each bed, room stunk like dogs and scented spray, and had gap under door to hallway.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good Value
Cons: No, All was fine
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Unclean, uncomfortable, uninviting. Bathroom Was disgusting, complete with peeling wallpaper, cobwebs in the corner and other people’s hair on the toilet. Room was advertised as two queen beds and they were two full-size beds. Staff was underwhelming and seemed more irritated by my checking in than anything else. Upon check-in, we were advised of all the things that didn’t work including the middle entry doors that were broken so we had to trek a fair bit out of the way to get to our room and the pool that just got back into working order that day; “you can swim if you want to but you’re probably gonna get cold”. Would not recommend whatsoever.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were a little firm for our taste. Room was clean and checkin was easy
Cons: Bed was a little firm and tge pillows were too firm also.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the fact that the people were very friendly. They were helpful when asked questions and told me the number for the cab. They also told me that I could book the cab the night before. Upon leaving I was asked to have a great day and to come again.
Cons: The room was a little chilly. Other than that things were fine.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: BEDBUGS!!! More than 20 bites! I will be reporting this to the health department! And when I tried to tell the staff about it, they didn't even seem to care. No attempt to remedy the problem at all.

Motel 6 Butte - City Center is conveniently located off of I-90 exit 126/224, in Historic Uptown Butte. Montana Tech, Berkeley Pit and Mother Lode theatre are within 1 mile. Rooms include free Wi-Fi and micro-fridge units. Reserve our meeting room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located easy to find and with enough parking in the middle for me to park my truck which was towing my car. The parking area was not large but I got there early enough. Room was very clean and the desk clerks we're very pleasant.
Cons: Not the fault of the motel and nothing really they could do about it but guess would sit outside the room and smoke. My room did smell like it had once been a smoking room but since people were outside smoking I'm not sure whether the smell wasn't just from the outside air coming into the room??
1,0 Poor
Cons: The front door needs to be fixed, had issues with closing, no hot water for a shower, huge puddle in front of door, couldn't connect to the WiFi which made for a horrible next day of traveling because we couldn't download movies!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The reasonable price for the room.
Cons: The room needed a cover on one of the outlets. It was safe but you could see a wire. It made the room look like it was aunt kept up for appearance.
7,0 Good
Pros: Excellent downtown location at a reasonable price.
Cons: Older building. Hot water was not constant, not sure if it was the hot water supply, or the shower valves.
7,0 Good
Pros: excellent location
Cons: This is a bare bones basic motel a place to sleep and take a shower.
4,6 Okay
Cons: The room was dirty there was no soap or shampoo in the room and there was a dead fly underneath the sheets
1,0 Poor
Cons: Many. There was atleast 5 homeless people walking around. There was plenty of abandoned homes surrounding it and it is pretty isolated from the strip. We still ended up not staying as I know our kids and my husband and I wont feel safe. Horrible
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was great and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We could not use the internet - it kept cutting off almost as soon as we got on.
7,5 Good
Pros: The very friendly staff
Cons: The door did not lock and the bathroom door dont shut this makes privacy hard
1,0 Poor
Pros: The uptown location is close to historic sites and restaurants. That's about it.
Cons: It was absolutely filthy and run-down. Constant traffic in and out by non-guests "visiting" sketchy people that live there full-time. I'm sure I saw at least a few drug deals. Room had caked-on filth and grime everywhere. Very depressing place.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Desk staff were ALL excellent,we moved from the first room due to stains and hairs on bed linens, in the second room the tv didn't work...at all, and the third room the heat wasn't working so the girls gave us the heater from their office.
Cons: The rooms were filthy. Stained linens, cigarette burns in linens, hair on pillows, hair and feces on toilets, hairs in sinks, dirty towels behind the door on the floor, black on socks from the hard floors.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to uptown.
Cons: Cleanliness. The hard flooring was not swept, and had dust bunnies. My slippers pick up a lot of dirt.

Cons: Cleanliness. Smells like disinfectant, but staff needs to clean behind and under furniture once in a while. Lint and dirt buildup along baseboards everywhere both in room and hallways. Maintenance such as caulking, shower head, etc. very good and clean. Water pressure in sink was low, but great in shower. Breakfast was above average motel fare. Friendly and helpful staff. Drapes and paint just starting to need redos.
