7,5 Good
Pros: Great hotel in a convenient location.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old hotel in a town full of beautiful old buildings. You feel like you're in a different era. Spring for the extra $12 to stay in the hotel as opposed to the adjacent motor inn.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The lobby is incredible. It takes you way back to the glory days of Butte and the 1920’s and is in excellent shape. The hotel retains its character. The bed was very comfortable. Great food within walking distance. The bar was very nice.

Cons: No breakfast facility and not many options on the street
9,7 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was historical and in walking distance to restaurants and bars and historical downtown. Rooms were simple but very clean.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in the hotel, so my review is specific to that and not the Motor Inn. From the very start to the very finish this was a wonderful hotel experience. The look of this historic hotel is dated to the era and boasts a grand entrance that is absolutely spectacular. The staff were all very warm and helpful. The beds were comfortable and everything was so clean! I highly recommend booking a room at the Hotel Finlen. I'm very much looking forward to my next visit!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious room
Cons: Noisy guests
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Classic Hotel and worth a stay in Butte. Don’t under estimate this place. Great for a visit. Great local bars and diners and the Hotel is excellent value.
5,0 Okay
Pros: It was very clean.
Cons: No microwave or refrigerator.
5,0 Okay
Pros: It was a “nice” place, but...
Cons: Seriously...I know it is an old and historic place, but a little more modernization would have been nice. There are VERY few outlets, and you REALLY have to search for the light switch in the bathroom. The queen size bed (at least in my room) needed to be replaced and it needed to be more firmly attached to SOMETHING so it didn’t sound like the room was “rockin” far more than it was. That said, the price was right and the staff was friendly.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great and staff is friendly and efficient. Hotel is very clean and it has a great history.
Cons: When there were guests in the neighboring room, I could hear them much better than I (or they) would prefer.

Pros: Room service for the extra days that I stayed was great! My bed was made, the trash was taken out and they left clean towels. The room was clean and the sheets smelled lovely.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
6,7 Good
Pros: Comfortable and reasonably priced, would be convenient if not for the road construction.
Cons: Area is under construction, making it difficult to get to. The sheets were dirty, but I was tired and staff apologized and offered to move me.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. Perfect for our road trip overnight. There is a small bar onsite stocked with quite a few good beers and some wines. It was nice to walk down the hall to get a beer after our long day of traveling, instead of having to drive somewhere.
Cons: It is situated about 10-15 minutes from downtown Butte, which I didn’t realize when I booked. (My oversight, I was in a hurry). We had wanted to see Butte, but once settled we decided against it. There are no restaurants nearby other than a McDonalds, but there is a gas/truck stop next door with a large store that has pre-made sandwiches, salads, hot foods and much more foods. That and the beer onsite worked for us.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The whole stay. Nice and clean.

Cons: Can't think of anything
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, easy to get to except the crazy traffic circle construction!
Cons: Continental Breakfast was very mediocre!

Pros: We were disappointed in the breakfast. It was grab and go which meant very little. Small pre-packaged blueberry muffins and oatmeal packets. No fruit or fruit juice. We had to get coffee in the lobby so we skipped it. We stopped for breakfast an hour or so later.
Cons: My brother and I had a room with two beds. The room was very cramped. The configuration of the room was different. In many cases the bathroom door is located to the right or left as you walk in the door. This door was on the side of the bed.

Cons: Room was in need of repair i.e. baseboards. Floor gave the appearance of not being clean. No addition of addition door locks or safety chain besides entry door knob. Loud motorcycle noise at night.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The location was easily accessible and easy to find. The room was updated and cute.
Cons: The traffic noise was a bit loud but nothing the owners can do about that.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, clean
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel really wad the gem of our road trip! I loved how comfortable the room was and how welcoming the staff was. Hotels like these are hard to come by. I would totally stay again.
Cons: Everything was great!
6,3 Good
Pros: Road trip to GNP from SLC- worked well for getting a good night sleep before heading out next morning to complete our journey to Glacier!
Cons: Very dated and could use some updating & refreshing.
7,1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Our dog was welcomed for only $5 and they didn't make us sign a whole raft of rules to keep him with us. Parking was near room. I might stay here again just because the pet policies are so much better than other places.
Cons: Parking was confusing, with customers parking every which way. Beds were passable but not cushy. Towels almost as rough as sand paper. Vents were full of thick dust and paint jobs on walls and doors were messy. Bottom of entry door was badly rusted.
7,1 Good
Pros: Place is a pretty good value. You do get what you pay for. It's an older place. Clean and reasonably comfortable.
Cons: The shower. The shower head hardly puts out any water. If they want to save water they should put in low flow toilets. I have a water saver showered and it works 100% better than the one their shower. Screens. I would not run the AC if they put screens on the windows so I could open them.
6,7 Good
Pros: Easy access to and from the freeway.
Cons: Broken concrete along the sidewalks creates a trip and fall hazard.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice and accommodating. Sam allowed us to check in late when we called ahead about delays in our trip and Misty was an absolute sweetheart at check out the next morning. Thanks for the comfy spot to stretch out and good luck with your remodeling!
Cons: They're in the middle of renovation so any complaints would be silly. Staff was great.

6,0 Good
Pros: It was a great price and a great location for someone traveling cross country
Cons: Room cleanliness was lacking, but the front desk was very helpful
5,8 Okay
Pros: Soft pillows and the bedroom furniture was nice looking.
Cons: Sheets had little black hairs all over them and my comforter looked like it had mud or foundation smeared all over it. My door wasn’t hung evenly which left a gaping hole between the door frame and the actual door. The TV you was very cheap, you could barely see due to the poor quality and darkness. I could hear every move the neighboring rooms made and same goes for the room above us.
7,5 Good
Pros: Seems to be ongoing upgrading, but wasn’t a big issue
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good price for a quick night.
Cons: Late night bar crowd was loud. Room across from us very rowdy and kept us up. We hoped for a pool or sauna or workout room all under construction looked like for years.

Cons: Beds are worn out people smoking in rooms and not just cigarettes no pool or hot tub they were out of order
4,0 Okay
Pros: Hot water clean sheets

Pros: Beds were very comfortable. Quiet place to stay.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was in between several meal choices and close to the interstate. This made it perfect for our road trip, as we were in a hurry to get on the road. The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable.
Cons: Butte itself is not the most cosmopolitan of cities, which is not the property's fault. The location is fine for a stop on a road trip but not somewhere I would go for a visit.

1,0 Poor
Pros: We did not like anything about this particular hotel. In fact, we dubbed it the Buttehole because it was so disgusting.
Cons: The smoke detector was ripped out & wires were handing out of the ceiling above the bed. The carpet wreaked of animal urine & feces. The curtains had moth holes worn through all over them. There was no lightning whatsoever for the sitting/dining area
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Front staff was friendly, tried to be helpful, seemed apologetic and embarrassed for the condition of the hotel.
Cons: The pool was down, staff says it has been down for months. The breakfast area was tiny, cramped, could not accommodate more than a few people at a time. Breakfast selection was aweful. Burned out light bulbs in the room, broken shower head.
7,0 Good
Pros: location and room was decent
7,1 Good
Pros: We paid 30 dollars less this time by booking online
Cons: The shower head was broken. When we went to the kitchen for hot water they had put away breakfast on time but had not wiped down the counters. The steam from the shower set off the smoke alarm every time and our door had to be manually locked or u could push it open
6,3 Good
Pros: Only boiled eggs. They put me in a room still occupied. Gave me a different room. Spider in the sink and unvacuumed carpet. No entry light working. Sink pressure too high, sprayed water all over bathroom. Tried to enter building second night card key did not work. Had to go back to office for a new key.
Cons: See above
1,0 Poor
Pros: Staff very nice.
Cons: Room had 2 holes in wall, webs in upper corners of room and shower, stains on carpet, crumbs in a line all the way around each bed, room stunk like dogs and scented spray, and had gap under door to hallway.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good Value
Cons: No, All was fine
5,4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good. location was good
Cons: The room stank like chemical cleaner. Couldn't shut the heat down - had to have the window open on ground floor. Through the night I was awake more than asleep/road noise. Hot-tub pump didn't work. The facility has potential but the cost is so cheap there probably isn't money to go around.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Desk clerk was grumpy
6,0 Good
Pros: I left early in the morning before the breakfast
Cons: The people in the room next to me were very loud and noisy right up to midnight
5,8 Okay
Cons: right beside busy roadway and macdonalds
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: BEDBUGS!!! More than 20 bites! I will be reporting this to the health department! And when I tried to tell the staff about it, they didn't even seem to care. No attempt to remedy the problem at all.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located easy to find and with enough parking in the middle for me to park my truck which was towing my car. The parking area was not large but I got there early enough. Room was very clean and the desk clerks we're very pleasant.
Cons: Not the fault of the motel and nothing really they could do about it but guess would sit outside the room and smoke. My room did smell like it had once been a smoking room but since people were outside smoking I'm not sure whether the smell wasn't just from the outside air coming into the room??
1,0 Poor
Cons: The front door needs to be fixed, had issues with closing, no hot water for a shower, huge puddle in front of door, couldn't connect to the WiFi which made for a horrible next day of traveling because we couldn't download movies!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The reasonable price for the room.
Cons: The room needed a cover on one of the outlets. It was safe but you could see a wire. It made the room look like it was aunt kept up for appearance.
7,0 Good
Pros: Excellent downtown location at a reasonable price.
Cons: Older building. Hot water was not constant, not sure if it was the hot water supply, or the shower valves.
7,0 Good
Pros: excellent location
Cons: This is a bare bones basic motel a place to sleep and take a shower.
4,6 Okay
Cons: The room was dirty there was no soap or shampoo in the room and there was a dead fly underneath the sheets
1,0 Poor
Cons: Many. There was atleast 5 homeless people walking around. There was plenty of abandoned homes surrounding it and it is pretty isolated from the strip. We still ended up not staying as I know our kids and my husband and I wont feel safe. Horrible
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was great and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We could not use the internet - it kept cutting off almost as soon as we got on.
7,5 Good
Pros: The very friendly staff
Cons: The door did not lock and the bathroom door dont shut this makes privacy hard
1,0 Poor
Pros: The uptown location is close to historic sites and restaurants. That's about it.
Cons: It was absolutely filthy and run-down. Constant traffic in and out by non-guests "visiting" sketchy people that live there full-time. I'm sure I saw at least a few drug deals. Room had caked-on filth and grime everywhere. Very depressing place.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Desk staff were ALL excellent,we moved from the first room due to stains and hairs on bed linens, in the second room the tv didn't work...at all, and the third room the heat wasn't working so the girls gave us the heater from their office.
Cons: The rooms were filthy. Stained linens, cigarette burns in linens, hair on pillows, hair and feces on toilets, hairs in sinks, dirty towels behind the door on the floor, black on socks from the hard floors.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to uptown.
Cons: Cleanliness. The hard flooring was not swept, and had dust bunnies. My slippers pick up a lot of dirt.
