Book Budget car hires in Santiago de los Caballeros

Cons: When I arrived they told me they did not have the car I reserved through Kayak. That it was gone. And since it was gone they had to give me a larger more expensive car. And they said I could not take that larger more expensive car unless I added the protection plan (which I did not originally plan to buy on the less expensive car). Overall I had to spend about $200 more than I thought I was going to spend based on the Kayak rental reservation

The experience was horrible

Pros: I liked nothing about it.

Cons: When I went to pick up the car they were charging me a total of $488.00. When I reserved it total was only $177.00. They representative told me that Kayak is a 3rd party and that they do not honor whatever contact Kayak has offered me. I asked him to see the contact and it said no such thing. They are bad for business.

Pros: Service was quick

Cons: They tried to charge me for the windshield being chipped even though it was obvious those were there previously. Pay attention to every single detail when you pick up the car because they will charge you for ANYTHING when you drop it off.

Auto rental

Pros: Car was dependable.

Cons: Upon renting vehicle taxes were included on line. Seems that more taxes were charged when vehicle was returned. Not sure why all fees were not charge when rental was booked on line?

Cons: They try to Scam me To buy full coverage

Too much money

Pros: Friendly service

Cons: Way too much for insurance on a crappy car. Car was slow, overhead inside light didn't work.
