Pros:After I reserved the truck for $100 for 3 days, which was a special offer, I was called 3 days prior to my trip that the vehicle would not be available, nor was any vehicle available. I rented a truck from U-Haul.Cons:Stand behind your offers!!Reviewed Oct 28 2020

Pros:Staff was very helpful and tried to remedy the situation.Cons:Car was not ready per reservation! I had a compact car reserved at 1200. Staff said that wasn’t available, I could wait for a compact (previous customer had waited more than an hour) or take an SUV. Neither was acceptable to me. I needed the better gas mileage, and could not wait. Which is why I reserved what I did, and when. Staff offered me a Prius at an additional cost. He was only able to discount it so much. He wasn’t empowered to do more, so I took it, with intent to request reimbursement for the additional cost. The total was $89.08, versus the reserved price of $64.55. I’d like to request a reimbursement of the difference of $24.53. Pending the outcome of this situation will influence my future use of kayak car rentals and budget. Thank you.Reviewed Nov 7 2019

Pros:The car was good enough for what I needed (a short-term rental while my regular one was being repaired). They didn't have the exact type I wanted so I had to get a sedan instead but it worked fine.Cons:The air pressure in the tires was low so I had to wait a little longer before driving off with the car. This facility is no-frills but the employees I've met are friendly and easy to work with. However, they could use more help at this office to avoid long lines of people waiting for service. The car which was offered was not available when we went to pick upCons:Waited for over an hour to get the service. The car booked was not available, gave us an upgraded car at much higher price and they also slipped in unwanted charges in the final bill, which we did not notice. We were told to come the next day and get the actual car booked, when we went to pick up the car they were again not available. Will never ever go to budget to rent a car.Reviewed May 7 2017

They could not find my reservation at gaithersburgPros:The car they gave was dirty and there fell so when I return my car at Baltimore they could not find it in the system,because the service at gaithersburg office did not update nothing so at Baltimore the drop off was great because people from budget at that office was awesome I was pleased with their service if it was not for them I would probably not come back,thank you to the service at the Baltimore Airport budget.Cons:The car dirty and the service at gaithersburg was not good.Reviewed Mar 26 2017
