The location was great, approximately 30 mins walk to Faneuil hall & Boston Common. The apartment was nice, and we really enjoyed the rooftop dining area. The bed was really comfortable too.
The A/C was extremely noisy and we found it hard to sleep a couple of nights. A couple of areas need a paint touch up as well, and the door to the bathroom was hard to open and close.
Kitchen could have been better equipped
The location was excellent. The staff was responsive, polite and they tried to accommodate to our needs. We had a comfortable stay there.
The air condition was centrally controlled, so we couldn't adjust it to how we needed it. The staff tried to adjust to a more agreeable degree for us considering the other guests in the building. There could be more towels in the unit, we needed to ask and they provided.
The location is fairly good, nice old brickstone building, the metro stop is only a 5 min walk away.
4 floors building without elevator is a bummer if you arrive with heavy luggage. The room was spacious but the wall paper quite dirty.
Enough space. Shower heated up quick. One good pillow. Carlos the maintenance guy was really friendly. Service desk people were nice. Free use of washer and dryer in basement.
Where shall I begin? *The windows had a horrible draft and we were cold, especially at night. No thermostat in the unit so we didn't have control over the heat. Help desk brought us an an additional blanket that helped but didn't keep the cold air from drafting on us from the cold when we slept. Gas fireplace was nice but didn't throw off any heat (no blower). * We had ONE bath towel EACH for a 3 night stay - no hand towels or washcloths. Although we normally reuse our towels for 2 days, 3 days is pushing it. Mind you, the unit (#4) was cold the whole time so it took all day for the towels to dry. * NOISY!!! So much so, we had to buy earplugs to get some sleep. It's right on the street and people in Boston use their car horns like it's the latest technology and for no good reason - all the time - so you hear it at all hours. * Not super clean. The shower curtain had mildew all along the bottom of the bottom. Who didn't see this and either not apply bleach or just choose to ignore it. It was pretty gross. * ONE ROLL OF TOILET PAPER for the whole stay!! Who does that??? We had to buy an additional roll before we completed our stay.

Getting Around: Commute like a local using Boston's infamous MBTA system. Prudential Green Line Station and Back Bay Orange Line are located a short walk away. We recommend purchasing weekly passes for 3+ night stays if guests are planning on using the subway or bus system often. Check Boston's MBTA website for prices and subway maps. Remember to always check street signs and meters if you are planning on driving in. We highly recommend parking at a local garage and leaving your car there until you are ready to go. Parking in Boston can be very complicated and expensive. Other Things to Note: An additional queen size air bed can be accommodated in the living room of the suite for a flat fee of $150 per stay. A 24 hour notice should be provided if an additional bed is needed. Pack N' Plays are available for no additional cost. A 24-hour notice should be provided if an air mattress is needed.
