Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. So many small things that go a long way! Free drinks, snacks, breakfast, etc. The bed is comfortable and the room was very clean.
Cons: The only negative comment is the walls are thin. There was a long of noises coming from both sides. However, this is normal in a hotel and I consider this just part of staying in one.

7,1 Good
Pros: Food tastes good in hotel, beds comfortable, view amazing.
Cons: The floor we stayed on was kinda stinky, like urine in the carpet and it was getting dried, so maybe just that smell resonated but it hit me the second I came off the elevator. The room service was pretty off as we were told one thing and got another entirely. They said it would be compensated so that was noted. We didnt get one washcloth?? Even when we called for them, we got only bath towels and hand towels?? Do hotels not do washcloths anymore? For a $250+/- a night I would expect a little better. But the staff was the most redeeming quality!!! Everyone from the valet to the bellman was amazingly kind and did act as they enjoyed what they do. Does it add up?? No. But I would go back and give it a second chance:)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the hot tub on a cold night next to the waterfall. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool area. Loved the breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and golf course. Ammentities were great for a couple or family getaway.
Cons: Bathroom towels, very tough.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: food in restaurant was very poor for price.Didn't finish meal because of poor taste.
7,5 Good
Pros: I liked the amenities.
Cons: I had booked a king room. When I arrived, no king rooms were ready. I was placed in a queen room instead
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was wonderful!
Cons: Cooling slow to come on.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The overall appearance of the hotel was amazing. The restaurant they had in the hotel had really good food as well. I only stayed for a night driving through and wish I could of stayed longer. I highly recommend this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent decor and cleanliness of public areas
Cons: Room should have been cleaner, (floors), but we did get an early check-in
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I did like the accessibility to my conference.
Cons: I wasn't aware of any inexpensive restaurant on site. I didn't like the idea of having to eat at high-end restaurants for every meal.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This was a weekend Anniversary celebration. We were suppose to have a room with a king bed but ended up with 2 queens instead. We did have a beautiful view of the patio and pool, which I think was better than my original reservation. The Country Club Cafe could have been a little cooler and we were there for a while waiting on a hamburger and a chicken salad. The room smelled really clean. We would definately stay again. Really wanted to eat at Brocks, but had to change our plans. Thought we would eat there on Sun night, but it was closed. My anniversary dinner didn't go as planned but we survived. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Wish I had done a little more research on the eating establishments. That was a little confusing. We left the grounds twice to eat.
Cons: Information about the different eating establishments on the grounds. Breakfast wait was long. Left and ate somewhere else
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the atmosphere. Very nice location. Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed everything. This was my second time and will definitely be back
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was amazing and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!
Cons: N/A - everything was wonderful!

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff who greeted me when I walked into the lobby was wonderful! Friendly, smiling and they even upgraded our room. The kids loved the pool and the bed was so comfortable, especially after a 10-hour road trip. Bathroom was lovely and modern, the decor was stylish and the room was enormous. Kids had their own tv and eating area on their side and we had ours. I only wish we were staying longer than one night. Absolutely loved it and will for sure stay here if we pass through Birmingham again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved how open the parking area was. The staff was super friendly. My husband and I had dinner at the bar, and although it took a very long time for the food to come out and our salads came out with our meal, our bartender was very respectful and sweet about it.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find at first because it is located behind a steakhouse and you can barely see the sign when you drive by. And if you go past the entrance you cannot just turn around. You have to get back on Highway 280, which is a nightmare, and go all the way back around to find the hotel again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was amazing and the shower was so unbelievable loved it definitely will stay again !
Cons: Nothing everything was perfect.
5,8 Okay
Cons: Shower was clogged in both rooms and required maintenance. Dirty bathroom floors were biggest disappointment ....Host Robbie gave vague answers regarding breakdown of charges. He could not state the local tax or luxury tax rate claiming 17-20%.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Very nice hotel.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: The price was higher than what I wanted to pay but it was a nice place to stay
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great!
Cons: They never left enough linens in the room.
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was wonderful. br
Cons: Having a modestly priced breakfast would have been have been appealing since breakfast was included in the cost of our stay. Because the water overflowed in the shower stall only one occupant was about to take a shower. The occupants were too, too tired to pack up and move to another room.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, in a nice suburban area, walking distance to a shopping center with a lot of restaurants and stores, next to a gym and easy freeway access to many places. The staff is incredibly friendly. Great rooms.
Cons: Renovations and the associated chaos knocks this hotel down a few pegs. There is drilling and hammering every day (including weekends) from 8am-6pm, which seems excessive. Work needs done, but for it to start at 8am on a Sunday is insane to me.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect.
Cons: Nothing.
5,0 Okay
Pros: What I liked best was the location.
Cons: If I had know the hotel was under reconstruction, I would not have choose to stay here. Also, I was under the impression that they provided complimentary/continental breakfast, I guess not. Below my expectations.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Loved everything about The Redmont!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was right in downtown. The lobby and room were very comfortable and the staff were delightful - all I had to say upon check-in is that I was very tired and she instantly checked to make sure I had a rear-facing room on the off chance there was noise on the street side. I didn't experience any other facilities.

Pros: Parking is terrible
Cons: Parking is very terrible
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient and staff
Cons: Had to pay extra for parking at the hotel we were staying makes no sense . And there was a terrible odor in the hallway
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice updated rooms.
Cons: Parking is an issue. Not nearly enough spaces.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Check out time was nice, room was nice and came with a lot (including dishes if you needed to use the kitchenette). Conveniently located, was close to a lot of restaurants.
Cons: Had to pay for parking, which wasn’t listed on the website.
7,1 Good
Pros: Room was very nice, like a studio apartment ... great shower, good TV selection. Breakfast was tasty & filling... Great coffee... the dining and seating areas around fireplace etc were exceptionally nice. Staff was friendly. Were forgot to check out so we called back to the hotel on our way out of town and they kindly checked us out via phone (it was well before noon)
Cons: Need more premium mattresses, made my back hurt... Didn't like the citrusy smell of toiletries... Tortillas on breakfast bar were cold both mornings, they should be heated. Also, this is the South, grits should be served every morning. Valet parking would be welcomed. Walking uphill to the parking area was not pleasant. I am not disabled but still found it challenging...someone could have a heart attack.
7,9 Good
Pros: to improve breakfast
Cons: Breakfast
5,0 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed, size of room, location of room, 2 large TV’s, windows & view.
Cons: Some rude staff, did not return cell phone after they looked at it for reservations, after we got up to our floor noticed it missing & went down to get it & it was sitting there with no one @ front desk. Returned drivers license & credit card & NEVER apologized for that incident! Parking is horrible people park in spots that are not designated spots. $10 to park there? No security, no covered parking, lot not fenced anyone can park there free. I saw no one checking the cars parked in the lot. Swimming pool not clean & wet towels & mess left there overnight. Too many wild kids in the pool also after pool closing hours. Next time will stay elsewhere there. Maybe Hilton or Homewood Suites in Birmingham. Other incident I should mention is they could not find my reservations I made in advance because they said a 3 rd party had last name wrong. They took middle initial & added to last name. I figured it out not them! That set the tone for my trip. After my phone was not returned made it much worse. Very unprofessional the way it was handled. Had to hand my phone over with email to prove I had reservations! That will never happen again. I will hold my phone & let them read it from my hand. Looked like they snooped through it until it locked on them. Talked to a supervisor about it all she did was apologize after I told her the front desk did not. Just so very unprofessional!!! Anything that happened front desk tried to blame on someone else. I know that routine.

Pros: I was very impressed with the hotel stay. It was like a studio apartment with everything there for you. We had a little food in the room and there was plates and forks and real glasses. The breakfast in the morning was very nice and staff was wonderful

7,9 Good
Pros: Good location and quaint house. Good breakfast. Lovely staff.
Cons: The bathroom for the standard room is not ensuite but is across the hall, which is not ideal. It is described as a private bathroom but does not have a lock, so other guests can use it. Best to book the next one up. There is only one standard room but we had a confirmation of 2 rooms. Unfortunately, the accomodation owner did not inform us of error until our arrival. We booked 11 months in advance.

Pros: When Tammy checked us in, she made us feel welcome and appreciated for staying here. She went out of her way to ensure we had hot water for tea and fresh Decaf coffee in the pot. This is the 4th time we have stayed here while our son attends The University of Alabama and each time has been a treat!

Pros: Everything was good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed and bedding were great and provided a great night's sleep. The room was quiet, well-appointed, roomy enough and comfortable. This hotel has been upgraded, and everything in the room was new except the bathtub. My only complaint was that the hair dryer was attached to the wall in the bathroom, so you have to dry your hair in the steamy bathroom while your partner waits for you to finish to take his shower. Otherwise, the room was great. There was both a full-length mirror and a desk with a mirror in addition to the mirror in the bathroom. Did not try the breakfast, so cannot comment on that.
Cons: If hotels would quit attaching the hair dryer to the bathroom wall, getting ready would be so much easier. This was my only complaint about the property.
